"Cute 2 bedroom with modern feel. Compact. Walking to all local grocery stores and amenities. Suburb outside Halifax. Easy parking. Unit is in a prior commercial or retail space so not best outside appeal but was quiet and safe while we were there 2 days. Other units in the building. Good value. Clean and comfortable. "

"The area was beautful and very peaceful. The home was better than we could of expected and we will deffinitly be back. Having to return home without a heated toilet was very hard to accept! 10/10!! The only thing that could of made it better in the cold weather would of been a propane fire pit on the screened in porch."

"Wow! Whalesback Cottage was the Nova Scotia oceanside escape that we were looking for. Our own private space – no traffic … no crowds … and the only sounds were the waves hitting the rocks. "Bring your groceries and leave your worries behind. This out-of-the-way vacation cottage is a great place to settle in and watch the waves. We spotted seals, eagles and fishing boats gliding past. "Great house. Some of the furniture needs changing like the dining room chairs that are very wobbly.3 bedrooms in basement are only doubles so like my son and his wife that are bigger people they had to sleep separately. All in all there was a great view and it was worth the prixe."

"We enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Lodge. The ocean view and sunrises were awesome. The house was comfortable and had lots of room to hang out when we were not out checking out all the nearby attractions. Could maybe use a few more plates and cutlery along with dish towels which we could not find. All around a good first Vrbo experience. "
