"Driveway is very sloped. My van’s wheels skied. It would be a little scary for a new driver. Apple map helped me to drive in/out from the property. Overall, great place to stay . "

"Great place for us, just what we were looking for. Nice place to lay our heads and get cleaned up after hiking on the blue ridge parkway. Clean, comfortable, and Ken and Patti were great hosts. Will be back."

"We had a wonderful time at woodland retreat to bring in the new year. Wonderful piece of land with everything you need! Highly recommend."

"The Great Aspen Chateau was a great place for a large family gathering. We had 12 adults, a teenager, a 3year old and an infant with plenty of beds and comfortable space for everyone. We drove from 3 states with 5 cars, and it was no problem parking them. Entry to the property was easy and Kelly’s directions to the house were great. Kelly was great to work with and readily available for questions. The roads to the property were paved and easier to drive on than other mountain rentals we have...

"The property was very nice, and as described. Communication and assistance was quick when needed. It was a quick drive to downtown, the arts district, or waterfall hikes. We enjoyed our stay and would come back."

"We loved the location just minutes to downtown and 240 but also in the woods. We have a bear visit on our last morning, which was very exciting for our pups. One of them loved sleeping on his bed on the screen porch just outside the bedroom. We enjoy traveling with them and they enjoyed the accommodations, especially the doggie treats. "
