"Hotel is in a lovely location, we were lucky to get a view of the gardens (not the car park). Room was comfortable and clean, we were disappointed with the bathroom, there is mould on the ceiling and the shower mixer tap had the central section missing which would have shown how it worked (room 8 on group floor. Service in the bar was good, bar area was comfortable. Food was OK at dinner, disappointed with my breakfast order of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs as the eggs were dry and over...

"Lovely modern hotel. Restaurant had some little booths as well as traditional tables. We were in a booth which I like. Staff were very good, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. I loved the fish in the pool in the restaurant. some rooms have a long walk to them due to the size of the hotel. It has its own carpark."

"Communication from Nick was 1st class, very good customer service. Have stayed a few times now. The studio i was in this time, waa clean and well presented. The only issues was the floor was creaky going to the en suite. Also the firestick didn't have any sound which it did in the other studio. Not a huge problem, but a smart tv would be a good solution. "Food in the Orangery restaurant was great quality. Room was clean and comfortable but could maybe be doing with a little bit of renovation. Continental breakfast was of a good standard, cooked breakfast was varied with some items a little overcooked. Health suite facilities were of a good standard. Sauna and Steam room were of a decent size approx 8 people at a time in each. Changing rooms were a little tight if many people were in. Staff were pleasant, helpful and really great."

"Stayed here previously and enjoyed the experience and glad to say the quality and service is exactly the same, top notch. Excellent room with great amenities this one even had a whirl spa bath. The menu is great and the food is superbly presented and so delicious and the service is excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed staying and have already booked back in. Nice quiet location lots of safe onsite parking. Promised I would mention the breakfast servers Norma and Terri who do a superb job. "

"This is a great guest house and who includes breakfast anymore?? My cousin and I stayed for one night and our room was very warm, cozy, and the owner made us very welcome. He went above and beyond with breakfast the next morning and cooked up custom meals for each of us! I would definitely stay here again since it is in an excellent location, within walking distance to the Largs train station, and who doesn’t love excellent hospitality and service?! Highly recommended"
