We understand the uncertainty that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused many travellers. We would like to assure you that we are doing our part by ensuring that we are following the general recommendations for routine cleaning and disinfecting of each unit so that you can have peace of mind. We want you to have a relaxing enjoyable stay with us here at the BeachCroft property!

Take your family and spend your vacation on this property, offering a stunning 235 feet of ocean front property and fresh water stream. Large partly covered deck, BBQ, gazebo and plenty of seating to watch the ocean.

Once in a while you become aware of a very remarkable place. The kind of place you thought would no longer exist until you found it. A place to pause and live again in fresh, pure air perfumed by the blending scent of cedar and the sea. We have fresh oysters and clams all year round. Lighthouse Country boasts more than 60 miles of Ocean shoreline and sandy beaches with countless streams and rivers playing host to spawning salmon and native trout. We have excellent drinking water supplied by Qualicum waterworks.

Enjoy Beach Croft; delight in this rustic 1500 square foot beach house featuring it's beach-stone fire place and heritage wood floors. A place of genuine friendliness and charm. Recliner chairs for your comfort and King sized electric adjustable bed in the master bedroom. Bring your own kayaks or canoes and paddle right in front of your rental or rent some from one of the local businesses.

Awesome ocean view and lovely beach house
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is very spacious. The view of the ocean is spectacular and there are lots of spots in the house to relax and enjoy the view. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking, baking, eating and drinking. The house has one full bathroom and a half bathroom which worked great. The full bath was nicely stocked with soaps, shampoo and a hairdryer. It really felt like the owners have put in great efforts to anticipate their guest needs. There’s even some spots around the house to charge your phone. Just bring your own cable and you’re good. We loved the outside where we relaxed under the gazebo taking in the gorgeous ocean sights and sounds. The bay that the house is located in is an awesome spot to paddle board as the water is fairly shallow and temperate. There’s another rental house on the property where you will probably see those guests walking by now and then on their way down to the ocean as the entry point is just past this house. It wasn’t a problem as there’s low fencing around this house to prevent anyone from encroaching on your space or privacy. Overall we found this house awesome and will definitely come back.

Amazing Views
Thank you so much for the wonderful week! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The beachhouse was so comfortable and had everything we needed to make the stay enjoyable. It was the perfect stepping off spot to beatiful destinations on the island. We went up to Campbell River and Strathcona Provincial Park, went out to Long Beach and Ucluelet, Goats on the Roof and spent time in Qualicom Bay. We will highly recommend this place and hope to one day return!

Beach House Getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Qualicum Bay! Beach Croft was a great spot for our little family and our friends. The kids loved playing in the yard and exploring the beach. We went on many day trips to explore the area too! It is a perfect spot for kayaking and paddleboarding!! We will definitely be coming back!

The house was in a position with a view of the sea, but there were high rocks and it was impossible to walk down. In addition to the service charge, there is an additional cleaning fee, and some of the costs are not informed in advance. Worst of all, we were asked to remove all used sheets, covers, and pillowcases when we left. If you get up early to catch the ferry, you won't make it. I feel like I've been in prison for a few days, and I'm not here on vacation, I'm here to clean their rooms. In short, not only will I not rent this house in the future, but I also don't want to use this platform anymore. It's too insecure.

Accessible
We were very pleased with the accessibility of the property. The ramps into the beach house made it very easy for our person in a wheelchair to enter the beach house. The master bedroom was large enough to accommodate the wheelchair. He loved the King size bed in that room with its adjustable electric positioning. We all loved our seaside patio view and had breakfast outside on most mornings. The fire pit was a special treat. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful Retreat
We so enjoyed this property, cannot get closer to the beach. When it was stormy so mystifying to watch the waves break over the rock wall. Hosts were always available and very helpful. Would highly recommend this rental house. FANTASTIC.

Beautiful and private beachfront
We loved our stay, very private, and lovely beach house. We had three little grandsons who enjoyed the beach everyday. We saw Orca whales and jellyfish and crabs. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Jeff and Dawn.

Peaceful cabin on the waterfront

Great walk on waterfront location. The cottage is spacious yet cozy with all the amenities provided. There are great hikes leading to waterfalls and super eateries nearby. We had a very relaxing time taking it all in.

Perfect for us
A great spot with lots of room for us to enjoy nine days over Christmas and New Year’s. Great walking trails close by for us and the dog. And lots of close by take out options although we didn’t try any. Given the weather, we weren’t able to enjoy the outdoor space but it looked well set up to enjoy the space and view.

Lovely and Safe - with great internet
My wife usually goes to Toronto 4x a year to take part in a Strategic Coaching program, but due to COVID, the course was switched to online. While this meant she could do it from home, we thought it'd be a great opportunity to enjoy an escape together, with our fur-child. We found this listing, and in the reviews we noted that one person had complained about the internet stability. Since the course is delivered online, this was a huge concern for us. We reached out to the owner/manager, and they let us know that they had upgraded the service that week, and the signal was much stronger and stable. They were honest - the connection was fantastic, and my wife did her program without a hitch. As to the unit itself, the location is amazing - waking up to watch the sunrise as the tide comes in. The kitchen had everything we needed, other than groceries. It was clean, everything worked, and we were comfortable for the whole stay. Someone has complained about the furniture being old - and yes, some of it is, but it's a dog-friendly rental with a million-dollar view. Expecting luxury at this price is a pretty big ask, but these owners have done a great job of taking care of everything you need. Across the road is a delicious west coast seafood restaurant, and 100m away is a tasty cafe/art studio. If you bring your dog - there's a fantastic walk just up the road (lighthouse trail) that is amazing. It's probably great if you don't have a dog, but where's the fun in that? I can go on and on - but the short version is - we loved this place and will stay again.

Felt like staying at grandma and grandma’s cabin!
Lots of room for family. Very homey with an authentic cabin feel. We loved it! Very clean! Excellent view! Great storm watching and beach walks. Awesome restaurant up the road. Friendly caretaker. Kitchen was well equipped. Dogs were welcome. We plan on returning. Thanks for everything.

A True Comfortable Cottage House
6 of us senior biking ladies loved this place. Dated but comfortable furniture. Lots of space and sitting areas. A fire pit on the ocean. Quiet. Everything worked. Owner was lovely, brought us local paper when it arrived. Parking spots available. Reading lamps by each bed. TV and games and DVDs available if you want. I look forward to coming back with family. Fantastic beach getaway
The location is perfect and property very big inside and out. Old but clean. It could do with a couple of new pieces of furniture i.e couch and chairs but this is a rustic property so don’t expect the best. The location is perfect and having morning coffee listening to tide and smell of ocean was heaven. Family of 8 were very happy😊👍

An excellent family get away.
There was plenty of room for two adult couples and two kids. The house was clean and well equipped. The beds are good. The place is well organized for good weather or bad. Nice beach for kids. Our hosts made us feel welcome and were available when we had questions but didn't intrude. We hope to come back for a week next year.

So much potential!
This is a great spot to relax and enjoy the view. Some feedback, The furniture is in desperate need of updating. Not to say that everything must be new but in the last decade or so. People were much shorter on average when this furniture was built, 50 years ago. Cut back on the pieces of furniture possibly. Some other updates would go along way as well. Counters and floors. Wifi wouldn’t have mattered but we had some rainy days and it’s nice to fill your time that way. Signal was dodgy and would vanish for no reason. Hosts were great, place was decently clean and we spent most of our time outside on the deck. Comfy patio chairs would be a good add too, since that’s what we are there to do. Old office chairs don’t make good patio furniture. Overall pretty good. If we saw an update, we would definitely come back. Brian and Jodie
