"This would have been a great stay but the management did not say that there was a lot of construction being done on the hotel. My wife and I walked to our room to find a bunch of workers in most of the rooms. This was very unsettling because they were in every room but ours and it was a mess. Once we entered our room it didn’t get any better, it was not clean at all and the shower did not drain. The microwave was there but not close to a plug. "The property was cute and very convenient for our needs. We were getting work done on our house. The location allowed for my oldest to still ride the bus to school, which allowed me to get the youngest to school on time as well. There was plenty of space to have our family spread out. The water was great with the hot water working very nicely. The bath tub was amazing. Ac worked perfectly. "

"Great day trip to fish although the fish weren’t biting. We celebrated my dad’s 80th birthday with a small group. It was perfect place for storing and serving food. Had the feel of a full size home. Lots of space outside. The deck was a lovely space to sit and socialize, with good shade."

"We had a great weekend in False River! For most of us, it was our first experience at an LSU game and needed a good place/location for the game. Ma Mamma’s is a great place for evening meal. Great food and perfect place to take a big group or just your special someone. The house was clean, spacious and provided everything and more for our group. I would definitely recommend this place for a great stay. Great communication by the owner too!!"

"We had a great stay at this camp. The hosts are great, and the property is nothing less then what is in the description. Me and my husband had a great few days here just relaxing and doing some fishing. If you bring a boat I would highly recommend going launch the boat before you pull up at the property, because the driveway is extremely rough and steep.
