Property was good, had everything we needed. The only thing i will mention is the lack of communication from the host. I read other reviews saying the same thing and i can confirm that. I took several from me, to get the info we needed, i asked the same questions multiple times, definitely an area for improvement. i hope the host ead this and improve the customer experience. Thank you. La propiedad era buena, tenía todo lo que necesitábamos. Lo único que mencionaré es la falta de comunicación por parte del anfitrión. Leí otras reseñas que decían lo mismo y lo puedo confirmar. Envié varios mensajes para obtener la información que necesitábamos, hice las mismas preguntas varias veces, definitivamente un área de mejora. Espero leaN esto y lo tome para mejorar la experiencia al cliente.Gracias

Horrible Host and room
This was the worst room that we have ever experienced. The host was horrible and didn’t fix anything, but the unit was so bad it needs to be remodeled. Called VRBO and they did nothing. All around worst service that we have experienced in Mexico. False advertising, not room in pictures on VRBO.

Not worth the money paid
We had no refrigerator or freezer working the whole time we were there and I have yet to receive any kind of a partial refund that was promised the ceiling looked like it was going to fall in near the kitchen and the Wi-Fi was sketchy the whole time would not recommend it is not kept up very well

Check in was set for 4. Upon arrival of the condo, the front desks tells us to see property owner to get the keys. After multiple calls and texts to the owner and no answer, I call my mom to tell her what’s happening. Owner answers my mom first call. Seems like intentional avoidance. After the phone call with my mom, property owner finally answers the phone. She tells me that the room is not yet cleaned and she needs to send someone to bring me the keys. I ask her to call me back and tell me how long it will be to get the keys because I have already been waiting over 45 min to get into my room. After 10 min of no call back, I call and she gives me the passcode to the room. Which could have been done in the first place. Offers me a partial refund as an apology for over an hour of waiting to get into my room and for the room still being dirty. The refund has yet to hit my bank account w no answer back from the owner about it.

Need deposits for everything and then had to wait 30 min to get my money back. Counter staff rude.
Would never go back, At arrival staff were rude. They want you to wear masks sanitary purpose, but yet the evevators were filthy, trash by the elevator was never cleaned. Reception floors were filthy.

Great spot for a quick getaway
Great little condo with a perfect view. We were a little concerned by the other reviews but we had no issues at all. The unit was clean, close to the elevator, and the view was fantastic! Just what we were looking for.

DISAPPOINTING AND DISGUESTING
Where should I begin! We have been traveling to Rocky Point for approximately 25 years and this was by far our worst experience EVER!!!!!!!. From the lack of paper towels, the flat uncomfortable pillows, the lack of drawer space because of all the old movies and videos in the other drawers, the non existent dish soap (how is a person supposed to wash their dishes) and the non existent trash bags. (that became an issue as well) A washer and dryer but no detergent, two tiny tiny bars of soap in the bathroom poor old outdated lighting and lack of outlets. ......but WORST OF ALL WAS THE GIANT 2 1/2" COCKAROACH IN THE BED!

Not a 5 star property, but just what we needed.
If you are looking for a 5 star property, this may not be for you as the interior could use some updates. If you are looking for a place to sleep , shower, and recoup, perfect! This one bedroom unit with pullout sofa in the living room was perfect for me and my daughters. 4th floor, looking right out over the water, walking distance to the gulf as well as 3 pools (1 heated). The grounds of the Princessa are kept pristine and you get just enough private beach to avoid the vendors if you want. Whether you want to get away or bring the family, the Princessa will work for you.

Great location
The Princesa de Penasco is a great property at possibly the best spot on Sandy Beach. The beach is particularly nice there (no rocks and the reef is far out) and there are a few restaurants in walking distance. Also, the pools are beautiful and they have ramadas and lounge chairs. The view from this unit is spectacular. The owner was very good about letting us check in early and check out late, which means a lot to us. However, it was a little dirty. That wasn't a serious problem for us and there were no bugs. When we called her about the broken shower curtain rod, she did get someone to come, but he didn't right away. But he did help us with the TV when he came which was a big help. I did have to text her as I was driving from Tucson on the day of our arrival to get the access code, but she responded quickly. The price was one of the best on that beach and I'd go there again.

Basic place in a nice resort
We found the condo unacceptable due to broken and unusable toilet, nonfunctioning lights and cockroach infestation. The owner promptly moved us to a larger and better condo in a different resort for free. While our trip was very good as we were in a different condo, this review is about the originally booked property. In the state the condo was, I would not recommend it to anybody. Before booking the stay, I read some negative reviews and sent questions to the owner asking if repairs were done and received no answer. I still decided to book it as the price did not include any extra fees besides cleaning fee, like in other listings of Sandy Beach condos by other owners. On the day we moved in, the owner communicated without any issues. At least 3 pictures in the listing are not from the property: The bathroom, the view from the windows (looks like a second floor of a house) and the picture with a red love seat and sofa.

Roach infested rental
Unit pictures on VRBO are not all correct of the unit. Bathroom pictured is not correct or is the condition the pictures show - very old pictures of when it was new. Surface clean maybe but super dirty tile and areas. I sprayed for bugs everyday and still couldn’t kill all of them. They want to blame HOA for the issue and the whole unit needs deep cleaned!

It is a one bedroom condo, with a pull out bed. The restroom is large and very nice. The kitchen had everything available for us to use like utensils, pots and pans. The air conditioning is perfect. Cable and WiFi worked perfectly as well. The view from the balcony is perfect, the condo sits right in the middle building, and the view from the ocean is breathtaking. Really enjoyed my time here and will return again.

MY STAY REVIEW
The room was nice and clean however definitely not the room posted online. Also there were bugs in the room and my daughter and I woke up with bites all over us and we slept on the pullout bed. When we returned hone we made sure to wash EVERYTHING before putting anything away in my house. The room had a great view but for the price of the room it has more negative than positives. Very displeased :(

good for the basics
Overall, the property was just ok. There were things that we needed to bring that we thought were included. -trash bags -toilet paper The bedroom has a light right outside the window and the drapes are paper thin. It was bright all night. There were sheets for the pull out sofa bed, but no blankets. The dryer only puts out cool air, so it's useless. Good things: The fridge was super clean. The little cafe has great service and food. We had trouble during check in and the owner was very responsive and helped us immediately.

Shocked and disappointed
No bath linens, (washcloths, hand towels, bath towels) Had to cut up my beach towel so we could have wash cloths. No toilet paper. Condo very dirty and gross. Ceiling tiles were cracked and leaking. Counter tops were cracked. However, the view from balcony was awesome.

The condo was old and dirty with cockroaches. The condo had old furniture and the washer/Dry didn’t work. There were holes in the ceiling. The pool and the beach were excellent.
