"Watching monkeys and toucans eye level while drinking coffee in the morning, listing to the rain or wildlife during the night. Making dinner or playing cards in the evening 70 feet in the tree. "This place is truly part of the jungle - we saw tons of bird and had monkeys, coatis and even a huge spider inside of the treehouse. We felt one with nature, while still living in a very clean and comfortable space. There were no mosquitos at night which was a pleasant surprise! "Our 3 families rented all three homes in this very special place! We love being close to nature & the homes were so unique & surrounded by nature. Orlando is an excellent host & we met others working on the newest home which looks spectacular too! All homes were clean, well appointed with the special touches of fresh flowers, plenty of extras & very comfortable. Orlando arranged a chef to prepare our dinners -5 stars to Chef Jimmy! "Die Anfahrt ist sehr beschwerlich und ein SUV muss sein, da das Auto auf der steinigen schon fast felsigen Zufahrt aufsetzt. Die Loction ist wunderschön und näher kann man nicht am Meer wohnen. "This is such a cool place. Great AC and WiFi. The private trails around the property are incredible and back up to a river. Feels very secure. We found kinkajous, squirrel monkeys, coatis, snakes, frogs all around the property. Absolutely must stay here if you like exploring nature on your own, especially at night."

"This was an amazing space for a week away with our kids and spouses, who all live in different cities. Tranquil space with lots of options for more excitement (e.g. surfing lessons), and a constant nature show of birds, monkeys, and other wildlife. Delicious food, and friendly staff who went the extra mile (one of our daughters twisted her knee on the first day and needed a few more rides than we'd planned on). "We had a wonderful time in Carate, and this house was the ideal home base for all of our activities. We saw scarlet macaws and toucans regularly and were fortunate enough to see a tapir pointed out by the very helpful property manager and tour guide, Yeri.
