We had a wonderful stay at Oceanscape! As described, it's well appointed with beach chairs, kitchen items, and more. Others mentioned that it is remote, however, we enjoyed being away from the crowds. It was fun taking day trips to beautiful Sapodilla bay and Grace Bay. It felt like there were just enough people there at this time of year (August) that it felt relaxing instead of creepy. I think that folks were more likely to be friendly and chat because of the small crowds. We liked that!
The staff at Northwest Point were very responsive and friendly. We especially enjoyed Kwalu Norvi, who greeted us early mornings as he raked the beach. He connected us with the Captain of the parasailing boat that we went out on and even accompanied us for the day, giving us a local's perspective and tour of the island!
We were not able to use the safe (though we felt like our things were secure without using it), had a couple of issues with the fire alarm, and these teeny tiny ants (can't control nature!). The staff & Noelle were responsive. The place smelled a bit musty, being right on the ocean. There is an ocean view although it's the furthest unit from the beach, although this makes for easy access to the car. We'd stay here again- thank you Noelle for sharing your bit of paradise with us!!!
