The White Rabbit Guest House, circa 1860, is a charming Ontario cottage style brick home which has been lovingly renovated to provide quality and modern comfort, while maintaining the heritage of the home.
Our guest house features a spacious, open-style kitchen, with entrances to an enclosed side porch on one side and a garden space with deck, BBQ and seating area on the other. Other main floor areas include a relaxing and bright living room with flat screen TV and ample seating for family and friends, a spacious dining room, and small reading room off the dining room with books and games available for your pleasure. A cozy bedroom with queen size bed and newly renovated 3 piece ensuite bathroom is located on the main floor off the kitchen.
On the second floor are 4 bright and comfortable bedrooms (2 Queen, 1 Double, 1 Single) located off the centre hallway. An updated 4 piece bathroom which includes a bathtub and glass walk-in shower is located upstairs as well.
Our guests have full use of all of the house except the carriage house, basement and storage room on the 2nd floor.
Access to the deck with outdoor seating and BBQ is from the kitchen.
Wifi and Netflix are available and a Sandbanks Provincial Park Day Pass will be provided upon arrival.
Linens, towels and most kitchenware are provided. Please bring beach towels.
Please note, due to the age of the home, the staircases leading to the second floor may not be suitable for young children.

The White Rabbit Guest House is located in the heart of Prince Edward County on Main Street, Picton, iwithin easy walking distance to the downtown where you will find grocery stores (Metro, Sobey's), an LCBO, a pharmacy, and numerous shops, art galleries, pubs, cafes and restaurants.
Within town are parkland trails and a short drive away is Macaulay Mountain which offers trails for hiking, mountain biking, snow shoeing and cross-country skiing.
Biking is popular with the Millennium Trail coursing though the County and access to this trail is very close to our guesthouse.
The County is home to over 40 wineries, micro breweries , cideries and distilleries, many of which boast award winning products and which are all within easy driving distance from Picton (10-20 minutes).
The small towns of Bloomfield and Wellington are approximately 10 and 20 minutes drive from Picton and also offer an excellent selection of boutiques, galleries, cafes and restaurants.
Within the County there are 3 beautiful provincial parks and several conservation areas which are all easily accessible. The Sandbanks Provincial Park is a 15 minute drive southwest of Picton and home to one of the largest sand bar and dune systems in the world. A 15 minute drive east on the Upper Glenora Road takes you to Lake on the Mountain Provincial Park and North Beach Provincial Park is a 20 minute drive west of Picton.

Parking is available for 4-5 cars with additional parking on the street as needed.
The Belleville VIA Rail Station and Greyhound Bus Station are approximately 30 minutes drive by car.
From the White Rabbit Guest House, you are within a 5-10 minute walk to grocery stores, pharmacy, the LCBO and numerous cafes, shops, restaurants and pubs.
Cab companies are available to provide you with transportation to County locations at reasonable rates.
