The self-catering Golf Lodge LC5A has the most magnificent views of the Simonsberg and is located at the edge of one of the many dams that have been created in the Pearl Valley Golf Estate. The Golf Lodge has 3 levels, the ground level has a spacious fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a lounge leading onto a covered patio. A twin bedroom is also on this level with its own en-suite bathroom with shower.
The first floor has two bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms having a bath and shower. Both bedrooms have balconies with magical views of the mountains. On the the second floor is an additional twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and shower. It also has its own private balcony.
All bedrooms in the Golf Lodge are fully air-conditioned, bathrooms have underfloor heating.
Pearl Valley Golf Estate is located in the heart of the Winelands in Cape Town, South Africa. Only a limited number of golf lodges were built at the Pearl Valley Golf Estate. These are located around beautiful, interconnected dams with views of the Simonsberg. Golf Safari SA arguably owns one of the best positioned lodges in the estate offering both privacy and unspoilt views of the surrounding mountains.
The resort is situated between Franschhoek and Paarl. Thereby Pearl Valley gives visitors the ideal platform to enjoy many of the famous wine farms of South Africa. La Motte, Nederburg, Rupert and Rothschild, Boschendal, KWV and more are all within a 10 km radius from Pearl Valley. World class chefs serve mouth watering food in the best restaurants of the Western Cape.
The Winelands has a number of wonderful golf courses to play on. There are many hiking trails, mountain biking routes and scenic roads for cycling. Canoeing, polo, horse riding, fishing, cross country running and many more sports and activities are offered in this area.
Other tourist attractions of this area range from museums to botanical gardens. There are numerous scenic mountain passes. An abundance of wine farms and brandy distilleries offer tours and tasting rooms. Lakes and dams can be reached on foot and by mountain bike. Cape Town is also easily reached being less than 65 km from Pearl Valley. A little further away is Hermanus, which is famous for whale watching. It is easily reached in an hour’s drive.
