"Excellent and prompt communication with host. Property exactly as described, and very clean. Guest book provided clear instructions regarding the amenities and pre-checkout procedures. We enjoyed walking in the quiet neighborhood and accessing the shore nearby. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay right on the lake. "

"Chris, I have been staying there for 3 years straight and this year 4 of us rented the unit. However 2 of the group at the last minute could not come. Then I get an email that another $100 is due for excess cleaning to be paid!! We left the place almost as we found it. Towels were washed( (2) and I forgot to strip the bedding. Where does this so called $100 cleaning bill come from? I always pay in full to avoid this type of situations. Both of us are 66 uears old and we had 1 6 pack of beer...

"The rental is one unit of a duplex in a historic home. The apartment has been nicely updated with new kitchen, central air, etc. The layout is perfect for families. It was easy to get into town and down to Millcreek for activities, and only 10 minutes from Presque Isle. The downsides are that the neighborhood isn't great, the building shows its age and could use some attention, and the outdoor space is overgrown and not really useable. "The view and the home are outstanding! It was peaceful, quiet, and lovely. It was easy to find everything throughout the home and they had everything! The beds and furniture were very comfortable. A lot of thoughtfulness is demonstrated by the host by the way they set up everything as well as the manner in which they respond quickly. "Grandkids wanted to visit someplace local. Erie Zoo & lake pymatuning spillway was scheduled. Just a weekend getaway for family. Rental is close to everything. Central location for shopping & eats. Beds are comfortable. Great for small family stay. Nice backyard. Rental shows its age.But being under new management, Im sure updates will be coming. "

"There was a fire alarm situation and the clerk was telling everyone it’s ok to go up to our rooms without having had the fire department clear the hotel. On top of that I asked 4 times from the day I checked in for a shower chair, for a room that was accessible, the chair should be offered at check in or already in the bathroom. The one time I asked the clerk said’ it’s kinda hectic right now. "
