This home sits on five beautiful acres in Paradise Valley, surrounded by the astonishing Absaroka mountain range and the famous Yellowstone River. Drive five minutes to Chico Hot Springs, walk next door to the Shining Mountain Art Gallery, or drive a few minutes down the road to the Old Saloon for a drink with the cowboys.

We are only 15 minutes from Livingston, and 35 minutes to Yellowstone National Park.

This home is located on the same property as the Pray General Store, a 100+ year old building that used to contain the old Pray Post Office. We have started a several year-long journey to improve the property with rental cabins, and eventually refurbishing the store.

Bedrooms - Brand new memory foam mattresses and bedding will lull you to sleep.

Kitchen - We provide everything you need to prepare delicious meals, from cookware to the oven. You can also eat out at several nearby restaurants.

Bathroom - Custom tiled and ready for a hot shower.

Living Room - Includes a pull-out couch (Queen), smart TV (Netflix, HBO, & Amazon included), and a bluetooth speaker for your enjoyment. We also have several board/card games available.

The building is heated through radiant heating, which will keep you and your feet toasty...

You will have access to the entire space inside.

We live adjacent to the unit, and can assist with any recommendations, questions, or needs - but also respect your privacy.

Our home is located a quick 5 minutes from Chico Hot Springs, Yellowstone River fishing access, Sage Lodge, and several hiking/hunting trailheads.

Parking is wide open and easy to find. You may have a maximum of 5 parked cars.

Hiking - Pine Creek Falls & Trout Gulch Trail both boast gorgeous views, flowers, and waterfalls.

Soaking - Poke over to Chico Hot Springs to relax under the stars or snow.

Fishing - Head to Angler's West to get outfitted, then drive to one of the several fishing access points to catch the big one!

Music - The is usually music at the historic Old Saloon or unique Pine Creek. Both are a great time!

Cute VRBO but need to plow.
Awesome property, super cute! We have stayed there twice now. I just wish they had plowed the walkway/parking area like the last year we stayed in January. There was a large frozen over snow drift we had to walk on top of to get onto the sidewalk. A couple of us punched through it with our feet and almost fell. Definitely an injury waiting to happen! Other than that really enjoy the beds/shower and accessibility to Chico and surrounding areas. The radiant flooring is incredible, for winter!

Lovely
Sitting on the back patio, watching the sunset over the mountains with a glass of wine, while the kids watched tv and played games… this was a dream vacation spot. Quiet location except the occasional call of the neighborhood farm animals. Star gazing was prime here.

Beautiful property! We opened the windows in the morning, and the meadowlarks filled the house with their beautiful songs while we enjoyed our coffee taking in the breath-taking mountain views. I highly recommend this property!

Great weekend getaway!
Definitely recommend the homestead to anyone looking for a nice place in the Livingston/Pray area. We thought the property was clean, had all the basics we needed and was super easy to get to and from where we needed to go! (Make sure you go to Chico Sunday brunch if you stay on a weekend!) I appreciated all of info about the area and all the great food/sight seeing recommendations. Our only complaint was that the water in the shower was lukewarm at best. We each took a shower while we were there and it never warmed up. Slightly disappointing cause it was a cold weekend, but we survived. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Stay in Pray
The property was clean and comfortable and well stocked. Unfortunately, we stayed in the middle of August and had to leave a night early because it was too warm inside the house. At 9 pm it was still 85 degrees inside the home despite running all 3 provided fans. The communication with the host was good but I highly suggest providing at least one window AC unit to make guests more comfortable. As Montana summers get into the 90s consistently, I am sure it would be appreciated by guests. Overall, we might stay again in the winter but not in the summer.

Adorable home with a view
I can’t say enough about this home. Cute 2 bedroom with a large kitchen, dining and living room area. The absolute best part was the back yard, walk out the patio doors and there’s mountains all around. Absolutely gorgeous. Host was easy to contact and even worked with our schedule when we arrived a little earlier than check in. There is also a super friendly cat and dog outside who loved all the pets we gave them. If I’m ever back in the area I will definitely book this home!

I became ill and my husband and I couldn't go on our scheduled trip to Pray. Our two friends still went and said it was very nice. We paid for the VRBO but didn't get to enjoy it. Our friends said there was quite a bit of road noise.

Awesome property and location
Overall we had a great experience at this property. It worked well for the number of people in our group and Colin was very accommodating with additional requests we had and prompt at answering any of our questions. Check in and out were both very simple and quick for us. Our only complaint about the property was that there was no air conditioning unit and we stayed on a 93 degree day so the house got very hot during the afternoon. It cooled off late in the evening with all the windows open and there were a couple fans available that did help. Other than that, the house was great and we would definitely stay at this property again!
