"Be ready for rough a ride up the hill and nothing around...but once you get there it's paradise. Perfect place to unwind far from city noise. (And no barking dogs!) Dani is a gem, speaks fluent English and super professional. We had a wonderful dinner and a great breakfast facing the mountains. You can even see the ocean. The little villas are rustic and super comfortable. I want to go back!"

"For our second week in Costa Rica, we chose this home in Atenas. The photos do not do it justice- it is such a wonderful and relaxing retreat. The private pool and outdoor shower allowed a connection no nature. Hammock and hanging chairs, lush landscaping, toucans…. Just too much to mention. We will return to this special place. Lizz did massages on the breezeway our last day to the sound of rain and the birds. Communication was excellent."

"For reference we stayed in Atenas Costa Rica April 14th through April 19th. The house is gorgeous, and the view from the backyard is stunning. On two separate occasions toucans came to the tree in the backyard to feed on the berries. We also had 6 head of cows/ bulls wander up one morning while we enjoyed coffee on the back porch. "Spacious and comfortable. Apartment with sprawling patio facing the ocean. On the 2nd floor facing the ocean. Not easy to see through the trees -but the sound of pounding waves can be heard inside even with the doors closed views of the river too. Kitchen has lots of cooking tools. No spices or cooking oils. Everything must be brought in. Yummy restaurant within walking distance. Easier to have a car to reach shopping and downtown. Nice pool. 2 Beach towels in each room plus pool noodles....
