"I loved the oak trees and the birds. Our site had an amazing view of the ocean as we were on the 3rd floor. We saw humpback whales, dolphins, pelicans, terns, grebes, and more. We appreciated our time there and intend to return."

"We got to stay in the upgraded condos! They were beautiful! I had never stayed in the A and B side! Each of one of us had basically an apartment to ourselves. "

Housekeeper did not make bunk beds , restroom reeked of urine. The housekeeper did not do anything , the sheets on the bed in the bedroom were dirty. If I could rent directly through the owner and VRBO I would...

"As former OBX property owners, we were looking for a weekend getaway. We chose the Duck community and were pleased with our choice of where to stay. Our host was 100% responsive. The ocean view was amazing. We’ll be back!"

"The house was adequate. It doesn't have that awe factor, but it definitely not a dump. In my opinion, it is ready for some repairs, minor touch ups and TLC. However, it is a beach house. It is perfect for families with kids with plenty of bedrooms. If a minor incident happen inside the residence, I seriously doubt it would be noticed, because it is not in pristine condition. "

"This is a great place to stay. It was clean, comfortable and located right in the middle of all the local attractions. "

"The house was very clean and had a lot to offer in the way of amenities. It was too cold to go into the ocean at that time, but the hot tub was available, and the pool could be used too if the heater is requested. Enjoyed using the propane fire pit several times, and there is a great view of the surrounding area from the highest vantage point on the deck. This is definitely a place that I would not mind returning to."

"AMAZING property and the PERFECT location. Everything you would want is 5 minutes away!!! The fire pit is a must for groups and the game room was the main hang out spot!!! Will definitely be coming back!!!"

"Nostalgic: A beach property like they used to be before HDTV, before mega-cottages, self-contained resorts in which each guest has their own suite of rooms. Fully-updated. Well and completely stocked. Chefs will want to pack their own knives. "

"House was cleanly, lovely quiet neighborhood. Vrbo provided a number for any assistance we might have needed. They were very responsive and helpful. The house is as pictured it was beautiful and well maintained. There were stains on the carpet but that is to be expected when allowing pets😊 overall a great experience for my four children, our dog, my husband and myself. "

"Nice but I didn’t know about needing sheets and towels until enroute so had to buy new ones when I had many at home I could have brought along. The blankets and quilts provided need to be laundered. They smelled of other people’s uses. Otherwise everything was great"

"this was a nice house. we enjoyed the beach views from the porch and hot tub. walking distance to pier and pier restaurant. beds are really showing their age but we were not picky sleepers. Had to make our own beds but I think we read this in the listing. I would stay here again but would hope the beds are refreshed by then."

"First time staying there very cute place. Bottom floor is not the quietest you could here every move and every squeak in the floor from the 2nd floor guest. Invest in kuerig coffee pot.. breakfast was nice.. easy access to the beach. Will be back"
