This mid-century house in Poulsbo is a perfect choice for your next vacation, boasting a scenic view of Liberty Bay, a large yard for enjoying sunny days, and various forms of entertainment to fill your waking hours. A well-equipped kitchen and gas grill make cooking easy, while board games and a smart TV with streaming are perfect for relaxing at night.

This house is in a beautiful seaside neighborhood, just one block from the beach and yacht club. A little farther away is a large selection of pubs and eateries and Liberty Bay Waterfront Park, where you might rent kayaks to explore the bay. This house offers excellent access to the Olympic Peninsula and Bainbridge Island, both of which are an easy drive away.

Graduation Trip
The property is very nice and it was very clean. The keys in the lock box are a bit cumbersome. A keyless entry would be nice or just one key in the lock box with the extra's hanging inside. It was myself, my husband and our granddaughter visiting to attend our grandson's high school graduation. Very impressive the essentials that are provided. We didn't cook but plenty of pots and pans, etc. were provided if we wanted to do so. I would stay again.

Overall it was great. A few minor issues that probably come with an older home and record low temps while we were there. It was very adequate for our needs and the views were stunning. We couldn't utilize the gardens which looked very nice. In warmer weather they would be enjoyable I'm sure.

Location - Fantastic especially if you have kids. Kitchen Equipment could be improved - no hot pads or dish clothes, Pans scratched and warped. Downstairs Couch - missing back pillows - this could be easily fixed with decorative pillows Upstairs bath - tub and sink don't drain well and bath matt is way past the point of needing to be replaced. Upstairs Carpet has a lot of surface stains - I think it just needs a good cleaning.

Poulsbo By Lions Park
The house itself is kind of fun. Great views of Liberty Bay and Lions Park. The kitchen is extremely small, barely room for one person. Old school fridge with freezer on top makes for a lot of bending. The house itself was filthy. Really needs a deep clean. Dust everywhere, dust and garbage under furniture, carpet is filthy and needs a thorough cleaning or replacement. Silverware was a joke. Nearly unusable. Half the spoons were baby size spoons, like the kind a baby would use. Silverware was mismatched and not user friendly. When we got there both garbage and recycle was completely full and garbage had just been picked up that day. We had to message the manager who sent someone out but they only hauled away a half a cans worth of trash and recycle. The first time we turned on the dishwasher water ran all over the floor. My wife pushed a seal back and it worked. We were told to just keep an eye on it. No repair person was ever sent out and our job for our stay was to baby sit the dishwasher. We chose this VRBO over another because it was listed as having cable. When we couldn't figure it out they sent someone to find the controller for the cable. Well, there was no controller because there was no cable. They moved an old Roku box from another TV and I ended up buying a month of Fubo TV so I could watch the football playoffs. Everything in the house is on it's last legs and seems like it could collapse at any time. We moved a couch to vacuum and the leg came off. The blinds are not only covered in dust and grime but every time you open or close you wonder if this will be the last time they work. There is an inoperable foosball table taking up room in the basement and the fireplace is padlocked shut. The furnace vents are covered in dust. This place needs a lot of help. A deep clean would go a long way but the furnishings and kitchen supplies also are in desperate need of an update.

The house was perfect for me and my colleague’s needs. We each had our own floor essentially which worked perfectly in terms of privacy. Location was within walking distance to downtown which was ideal.

Wonderful view and location
The positives for us were the house has a nice set up. Adults can be upstairs enjoying the quiet and kids can be downstairs playing. Fooseball table, tv’s, movies, PS2, board games and puzzles for use. Big windows with beautiful views and partial water views. 10 minute walk to downtown Poulsbo and a park across the street. Quiet nice neighborhood and small patio off one bedroom with views. Front landscaping was very pretty, Comfy beds and lots of stand up fans for those warmer day’s. The negatives were not enough bath and kitchen towels, no extra trash bags, vacuum was left full and we had to empty it, outside trash cans had not been emptied upon arrival. We would definitely book this home again we really enjoyed our stay.

Would have been nice to have a better understanding of sleeping arrangements. Under the bed was gross, lots of dust bunnies. The requirement to have a key to open every door, plus the difficulty opening the main door, was slightly annoying. Kitchen was well stocked with gadgets for cooking.

Wedding stay.
Overpriced for what it was! Definitely needs more towels for 3 nights. Reported to VACASA that basement is infested with large spiders size of silver dollar. I put two in a plastic bag and left on counter next to VACASA info sheet and informed Stephanie in their office.

Great home in a ideal location
We loved our stay at this home. The property was clean and the location ideal. We were able to walk to town each morning for a coffee and a treat at Sluys bakery. Overall rating would have been 5 starts if it wasn't for the lack a a real TV. We really enjoy watching the local news in the morning and winding down in the evening with some TV. You have no options unless you have Hulu or Amazon...
