"We really enjoyed our telaxing stay here. We made use of the Bbq both nights and loved feeling so close to nature with the well maintained garden and beautiful mountains surrounding us. You will need a car if you want access to the beaches with gorgeous AntiSamos an easy 15 minute drive. Elena and Nikos were very good hosts always on hand if we needed anything. "

We enjoyed the huge shaded area which was perfect for chilling with a book or drying off after a swim. The local beach is very small but great for a swim or a snorkel. The directions to the villa were great and kept us off the rough tracks which a sat nav can take you via. We enjoyed the taverna at Avithos beach which has great food and lovely views. We definitely hope to return!"

"Villa Eirini is situated near the small hamlet of Evreti with the most amazing views across the Ionian Sea to the sister island of Ithaca from the breakfast terrace and both bedrooms. Cafe da manhã, oferecido a parte, tambem mereceria melhora na qualidade do suco de frutas, artificial, presunto, queijo e pães. Em resumo, nos pareceu que falta uma gerência/administração mais eficiente do hotel."

"Very good convenient location for pretty good sandy beech and restaurants. Great parking facility out front. Apartment quite basic but with nice balcony a few things in the kitchen department need attention! "

"This was our 2nd stay in Villa Varkoula. It’s a simple but lovely villa, with pool and great views of hills. Very peaceful. A joy to watch the swallows/swifts dipping down to sip from the swimming pool, a few sightings of an eagle and cute bats in the evening. A car is essential, but the town of Lixouri and several lovely and not too busy beaches are all within a short drive. Perfect for a quiet getaway or as a base to explore the wonderful island of the Kephalonia."
