"Wow! Whalesback Cottage was the Nova Scotia oceanside escape that we were looking for. Our own private space – no traffic … no crowds … and the only sounds were the waves hitting the rocks. "The building seemed a bit run down on first impression. It was also somewhat difficult to find as the address was number 30 but the house had different numbers at the front. However once we figured it out, the parking was great and the apartment was very nice. We found several places to eat within an easy walk. The host was very responsive. Our only suggestion is the couch in the living room is not very comfortable and sags when you sit down. "

"This rental provides a private, well located place for a short term visit. Access to the unit is by stairs to the back of the main house located on a hill with a lovely water view. The kitchen facilities are somewhat limited but adequate, especially for those out sightseeing most of the time. "Good location and friendly staff. We stayed for two nights at Superior Suite and it was great. The king size bed was very comfortable. Parking wise - both outdoor and underground options are available. We chose the underground parking and loved it! The sixth floor has a hot tub and a sauna, a nice way to relax in the evening. Breakfast is included and was decent - scrambled eggs, yogurt, hashbrowns, bread, cereal, coffee/tea. Overall, would definitely recommend staying at Cambridge Suites!"
