"very clean.....newer construction....oddly enough, we could hear adjacent room conversation....they werent speaking loudly....we had an adjoining room with door....perhaps that contributed to hearing the adjacent room conversation....just a bit unexpected.....we had a premium King room......it was very large, comfortable , nice size bath room , with 1 sink and soaking tub...service was excellent and very friendly"

"We were very pleased with the Hampton Inn Portland Waterfront. Our room on the 5th floor had a marvelous view of the harbor - we could have spent hours watching the ferries and tugs working! The room was spacious and comfortable and had sufficient linens for the 2 of us. The buffet breakfast offered a large selection of items, but some things (oatmeal, cheese omelets, and baked goods) were pretty mediocre; the waffles, scrambled eggs, and bacon were quite good.
