I complained a lot and they always told me "it will come back in 5 minutes" and it never came back. I asked to be sent to another room, but that didn't happen. "This ecolodge literally puts you in the center of nature in the rainforest. Plus, the staff is super friendly and knowledgable. The owners are two of the nicest people that you will ever meet. The onsite restaurant is a plus! If you want to eat like the locals, this is your place. This is not your usual hotel. It's located in the hills and it has a rugged charm. Nevertheless, we fully enjoyed the experience and recommend this ecolodge!"

"The property is a work in progress and not for the faint of heart. But with a sense of adventure and the proper attitude it is well worth it. Dominic was a very responsive host and went above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after. He even took time to wait for us and point out a side trail to downtown that we would surely have missed on our own. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and breakfast was beautiful and tasty."
