Be Still & Know, Walk to Port and Beach

Peaceful, luxurious, charming, unique 1865 Cream City Brick downstairs 2 bed, 2 bath apartment. Enjoy a wood-burning stove, leather, granite, stainless steel, gas stove (air frying oven), baby grand piano, multi-spray walk-in showers with Venetian marble, and heated Spanish tile floor. Newly remodeled with all new windows, I`ve spared no expense to make this space the premier Airbnb in Port Washington. Walk to shops, eats, beaches, and the nature preserve. Handicap accessible & kid/dog-friendly.

Hi, I recently moved off-site in order to allow guests the pleasure of staying in both apartments in the beautiful home at 426/428 Grand Ave. My cohost, Janice Steck, lives nearby and is happy to assist with anything I`m unable to help with from a distance.

My stay in Port Washington was absolutely amazing! The house was incredibly comfortable, and the beds were some of the best I’ve ever slept in. The entire home was beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully put together.Everything was conveniently located and easy to get to, making the stay even more enjoyable. The owner was extremely helpful, kind, and responsive, which made the experience stress-free.The bathroom was stunning and so relaxing—it truly felt like a spa retreat. Every detail of this home made our stay special. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would!

We loved everything about the apartment: beautiful, clean, comfortable, showers fantastic, amenities plentiful. Having stayed in lots of vacation rentals over the years, this one is right on top of our list of favorites. We really appreciated the owner taking into consideration the bad winter weather and allowing us to amend our stay--definitely a bonus. The Christmas tree was lit, Christmas music was playing, and the water bowl was filled for Francis the miniature Schnauzer. Next time we will stay longer and make use of the well-stocked kitchen, too. Loved it!

The home was superior! First off the furniture was very very comfortable. The beds were wonderful. Including the pull out couch. Our host greeted us and shared the house's history. Plus, we were invited to see the upper unit. Top-notch all the way around.
Huge bathroom in master bedroom. Soaking tub was a true luxury.
Excellent living space in the living room. An electric fireplace added to the quality experience. Plus a free standing wood burner!

This home is quaint and yet modern and decorated very tastefully. The bathrooms are amazing!! Bed was super comfy and location was perfect - just a short walk to downtown Port Washington and the beautiful harbor. It was nice walking to see the sun rise over Lake Michigan. We found the local people to all be very kind and friendly. Dave was very easy to communicate with even while he was out of the country. He checked in with us to make sure all was well or if we needed anything. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to staying again. So happy to find such a great place where our 2 yorkies were welcome as well.

Home Away From Home

This was the perfect getaway for my husband and me! The apartment is incredible. It is beautiful and has all the amenities that anyone could possibly need. Dave was always timely and thoughtful with his responses to questions that we had. I could easily live there! My only less than 5-star comment is that the house is located off the main road, but it wasn't noisy or anything. I just like a bit more privacy. Otherwise, 5-stars across the board! Thank you Dave!

Easter Get Away

We had a delightful stay. The property is very well maintained and exuded Easter charm. The proprietor was present for check-in and communicated just the right amount by text to make check-in and check-out seamless. The property is within walking distance of shops and restaurants and the port.

Cozy and updated.

We stayed on one of the coldest weekends of the season and this cozy home with a wood burning fireplace was just what we needed. Beautiful upgrades throughout and amazing bathrooms and comfy beds. So nice to be able to bring our family dog with us. Dave was a great host!

Charming Holiday Home

Be Still & Know was a wonderful place to stay for our holiday visit with family. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The primary bathroom is amazing! We had everything we needed and Dave was an excellent host! He had holiday music playing when I walked in the door and the Christmas Story tree was so beautiful and fun! Thank you Dave!

Beautiful Fall Port Washington Stay

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this amazing, recently renovated, first floor unit in the heart of Port Washington. It was a perfect blend of rustic traditional and modern chic, with original restored interior brickwork together with wood and tile heated floors, latest tech appliances, amazing multi jet showers, heated seat bidet, and many more niceties. Easy walk to the wharf area and local restaurants. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and grilling on the rear deck. Dave and Janice were very friendly and accommodating. We’ll be back!
