The listing doesnt specify that the walk to the beach is a long one on asphalt and a board walk covered with sandspurs and smilax (thorny vines). This place is less than pet friendly. The fenced in area was only large rocks with weeds and sandspurs growing out of the rocks and the firepit. The grass outside the property also has sandspurs. So absolutely no place to walk a dog without injury. Old dog poop in what little weeds that were covering the rocks got it on my shoe. Screws exposed in the wood gate that ripped my shirt when I had to reach over to unlock it. The entry way is a literal cut of Plywood to walk up to the front door. The floors were so dirty including sandspurs and old dog food from the previous tenants. Having toddlers pick up old dog food and having to wear shoes inside is not ideal. Sandspurs stuck in the curtains. Bed linens and couches covered in dog hair. Stairs are covered in vinyl flooring, very slippery material for dogs to walk on. My poor dog fell down the stairs and refused to move out of the 3' x 3' landing at the front door. Causing my son to cut his stay short and take our dog home. No ice maker or filtered water from the fridge. A small 16 cube ice tray that doesn't fit in the freezer is the only option. A baby gate at the top of the stairs was really nice but having on at the top of the next flight of stairs would have been better. The luggage lift is very nice. Overall the building is beautiful.
