Nestled in a quiet neighborhood four miles south of Port Ludlow, you're never more than a quick drive away from humble shops and restaurants. A small beach lets you and the kids enjoy the waters of the bay however you like. If you'd prefer to stretch your legs on dry land, Ludlow Falls are a quick three-and-a-half mile drive away. You're also close to delicious cider at Fynn River Cider, which features weekend bands and two beaches near the apple orchards perfect for digging clams. Make sure to swing by Chimacum for the Saturday market to pick up some farm-fresh ingredients!

However you spend your days out, you'll love coming home to the shining bay views from this home's spacious deck. The living room also offers lovely views from its windows, so get nice and comfy near the wood stove and gaze out towards the sea. If you can bring yourself to rise from the cushy chairs, the kitchen comes equipped with all the tools you'll need to create delicious meals.

The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Perfect
All around cozy I love to come back with my wife and 5 dogs. Listing says 4 which kills the deal this stay for her and them But hopefully the owner would allow one more dig. All dogs are trained and good , my kids live here and it’s locally close to them and my friends/ family. Love to come back soon. Thku.

Comfortable stay in a beautiful location
We began our trip in this beautiful, cozy location with a very poor check in. We never received confirmation information including instructions for entering the property. We contacted both VRBO and the management company, Vacasa and finally got the code to access the home, but nearly 45 minutes after our scheduled check in time. After hours of travel, my friends and I were exhausted, ao waiting to check in didn't make for the happiest of travelers. The home itself was not very clean. Specifically, there was quite a bit of dust on the furniture and fixtures. The home was free of clutter, and had all the essentials, but had some alight mold issues in the bathroom. The yard was huge with a gorgeous view of the sound, but the grass was a little overgrown, which made it a little hard to enjoy in combination with the damp dew. The neighborhood was absolutely serene and quiet as can be, which was wonderful after a long day. The beds were adequate, but the queen bed downstairs was metal and extremely loud when rolling over or moving throughout the night, especially in combination with the creaky floorboards. We really enjoyed the ample kitchen, tons of games/puzzles and the cozy view. Overall: Gorgeous home, lovely neighborhood, comfortable for a short stay, but with poor overall upkeep.With some TLC and a little extra cleaning, this place could be really nice.

Lovely location
This is a beautiful waterfront lot - the lot is huge. The house is quite nice as well. Access to the beach is very difficult- up a ladder. You cannot take your dogs. Some suggestions- mirrors in the bedrooms would alleviate congestion at the bathroom, the TV wasnt working at all- which was sad during the Olympics, but maybe its just the remote batteries? Also- some fans would be nice as the house gets quite hot in warm weather. Thank you for letting us stay.

What a find! The photos did not do it justice. The yard was massive and fenced in, our dogs had an absolute blast chasing each other. The deck with the fireplace was amazing, it felt very private and spacious. We can’t wait to come back!!

Very quiet, clean well stocked house. Has a water view and a big fenced yard for playing, sitting, enjoying the view. Porch is lovely as well. It was very hot upstairs, would have been good to have screens on the windows to open and get some air. Also, fixable but the lock on the door was broken so it was next to impossible to get in. We had to leave the door unlocked when going anywhere. We did call for help, a local number would have been optimal as a long distance dispatcher was not much good to us in the moment. Overall, we had a lovely weekend away.

Comfortable Getaway
The house was very comfortable for our family, and the 2 dogs loved running around the fenced yard. We mostly lived on the large deck enjoying the view, visiting and playing games. Even though we had a few challenges, overall the stay was very nice and would recommend. Our challenges were: 1. We were texted that rental was available early, and we could have early arrival. So we headed out, arrived early, and initial code did not work. We called Vacasa and after being on hold for 10 minutes received a new code that worked. Original code never did work even though they said it would. 2. No indication there was no freezer. Only the owner’s in the pantry. Usually there is a freezer with the fridge and available for use. 3. Could not figure out how to turn living room ceiling lights on. 4. Prior to trip, I messaged to find out if coffee filters were provided, and if not if coffee maker used basket or cone filters. They replied they did not provide filters and required cone filters. So I took cone filters. Upon arrival, coffee maker required basket filters. Thankfully, someone left some earlier. Additional information: One clock did not have correct time. Other clock had no batteries. Saw large rat come up through hole on deck and scratched at patio door. Kitchen faucet leaked around nozzle.

Perfect place to stay with family
We did thanksgiving on the large deck. It was super cozy. The stairs to the beach were a fun adventure tho most of our party was unwilling to attempt them. They were quite steep and slippery. The dogs loved the fully fenced yard. The house and rooms were great. One minor complaint was that the beds were all very noisy. We think some of the bolts in the bedframes were loose. I did have a couple issues with the listing. It said I should see wifi info a week ahead of time, but I had to directly contact vascasa to get the wifi info ahead of arrival. But wifi info was on the coffee table when we got in. Also, vacasa told me there were no dishes or silverware which fortunately, simply is not true.

Charming cabin, great for dogs
Loved the outdoor fireplace, location, wonderful fenced yard and views. Had everything we needed and more. Septic was slightly stinky and may need a pump out? Buy drinking water as the well water isn't too tasty. But a perfect getaway, especially with friends and pooches.

Adorable but bed bugs!!
Not sure where my first review disappeared to but bed bugs are serious and this property is still being booked. We had the half dried laundry, not-quite-clean dishes, which I'll let slide in vacation rentals, but my last 2 mornings I woke up with bed bug bites, sleeping in the downstairs bedroom. Upstairs guests had no problems. First time I've ever had bed bugs in any rental or hotel. Vacasa assured me someone would reach out to me about our stay, it's been nearly a week and nothing from the local management group. Maybe my first review went to their site, so I'll be curious if VRBO will allow a 2 star review up on their site. Cute place, I'd loved to have given it a 5 star rating.

Very good for four golf buddies.
As advertised. Very good for four golf buddies. Multiple seating areas. Cook is in the conversation. Room for one helper in the kitchen. Love the large pantry where I can see all I brought. Enjoy the view from everywhere. Good parking. The washer/dryer and lots of linens made it easier to have only one bathroom.

Great Friends Getaway
My friends and I had a great time at this house! It was a rainy PNW weekend and the fireplaces (both inside and on the deck) got a lot of use! I was dissapointed with the cleanliness if the place... there were no dish towels, the fridge was dirty, and there was half dried laundry in the dryer. Even still, we had a great time and it was a great location!

Great fenced in yard for dogs and kids. Quiet neighborhood; close to hiking and biking trails. Staircase going down to beach, NOT dog friendly or for older people. Would we stay again? Totally!!

Great get away
My family had a wonderful time. Property was beautiful. We especially liked the outdoor living area with the fireplace! Beautiful view. House is so cute! Nice big yard for the dog to run around in. The stairs to the beach were sketchy, be very careful. All communication was handled through text and we got all the info we needed. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful. We will be back.

The house was set on a hillside..beach access was through a set of steep stairs that no one should have been on. We could not access the beach as hoped for a our beach getaway! Very disappointed. The house smelled so strongly of must and mold that it was hard to get over. The house was not clean. The furniture not comfortable. The two bedroom were up very steep stairs. Not the beach access..getaway (after a year at home) that I had in mind for my 4 year old son and older mother. Loved the area but the house left us feeling disappointed. We had committed to the two days so we tried to make the most of it.

Overall a decent place to get away with a water view, could use a few improvements.
Cleaning was inadequate. Magazines left between the bed sheets, dirty laundry kn the washer, previous guest trash had not been taken out, only 2 roles of TP, dust & must covering most surfaces. Fireplaces were great though and enjoyed the interior design! Late check in and early check out without any flexibility were less than desirable.

Cute but not clean
This house is potentially very cute. Let’s start from the good things. The front yard is very spacious and a great place for kids to play. The porch is amazing and the fire pit is great for s’mores and to stay cozy in the evenings. Wood is available for guests to use. Now, the not so good. To go to the beach you need to climb down in a very very steep staircase absolutely not safe for small kids or people in not 100% physical condition. The house was not ready when we arrived. We called the Vacasa call center and after 20 minutes a lady arrived and she finished to clean the house and made the beds. The house was overall still very very dirty. Not blaming her, that house needed at least few hours to be clean. Dog’s hairs everywhere. A lot! The upstairs queen bed is extremely uncomfortable and in that room there is not even a night lamp or a chair where to put your clothes. All the propane tanks were empty except for one that was almost finished. We let the Vacasa call center person and the house keeper know but nobody came to replace them. There is not a dishwasher and everything is clean or dirty depending on previous guests accuracy in cleaning the dishes/glasses they use. Well, be ready to rewash everything you need. Well, again, the house is cute and well “staged” but absolutely not worth the money.

Great spot
I already did a review on Vacasa, so I wont do it all over again. But the place should have been cleaner - specifically the was tons of bird poop on the big long table on the deck. We couldnt use that wonderful table because of the poop. Also, the stairs down to the beach are more like a ladder. I get what they are what they are - the slope is steep and eroding, but your listing should spell that out... Overall, great place, should have been cleaner. And I put that on Vacasa, not the owners...
