"It's a really cozy spot. Wouldn't be great for more than 2 young kids unless they're good sleepers. For adults or older kids you could squeeze 5-6 people, but it would be tight. The upstairs space is an open loft where you can hear noise from downstairs. The kitchen was useful and beautiful, but lacking a dish rack or dishwasher so if you plan to cook, be prepared to wash and dry by hand. Couldn't tell if the water was from a well but it seemed questionable, so we bought 1 gallon water bottles...

"It was wonderful and relaxing. The dishes and mugs were too high for me to reach. We brought dog beds to keep the beasts off the furniture. A fenced in yard would be a great convenience but would alter the forest-y look. "

"Very conveniently located near water park and downtown. Three big bed rooms with two bathrooms. And a loft for the kids. Really nice boat house to chill and watch the water or boats. Great access to water for kayaking and canoeing. They also supplied a canoe. Highly recommended staying here. "

"It was a wonderful week! The location and cabin are beautiful and close to town. The yard is a large flat area…great for play area and bonfire. There is no AC, but there is a ceiling fan in each bedroom and the main room. Would definitely recommend it and we would stay there again if we were back in the area."

"Very nice cabin in Woodgate. Clean and comfortable with all the essentials. The hosts were friendly and we enjoyed the convenience of their market with delicious food, bakery and produce. Great location right on 28 and just 20 minutes to Old Forge. Would definitely stay again next time we're in the area."

"We loved the house but for 5 people and 1 infant it was a bit cramped. There isn’t a whole lot of seating together for all of us in one room. We booked in July so it was hot and the fans weren’t quite able to cut the heat. There was some trash/ items left from previous people as well. However, the proximity to the private lake as well as old forge was amazing! Definitely recommend this place!"

"Beautiful clean spacious home that has it all!! The moment we walked in my family was in awe of the grand foyer and ADK decor. Kitchen is fully stocked and has high end appliances. The beds are very comfortable with quality linens. Hot tub and pool table was a hit with my kiddos. Only a 4 min drive to a wonderful town. "
