"Very quick response from owner on any questions we had. "

"The place is good, and we had a good time in the area. The place is not right on the beach--it is about a 200 meter walk through the woods. The house is pretty remote, which can be a good thing, but every place we wanted to visit is at least an hour drive away. We did a lot of driving and spent a lot on gas. We wish we had stayed in Baddeck."

"A very nice property. Four couples stayed there a night while on a motorcycle tour of Nova Scotia. One of the bedrooms didn’t have access to a bathroom so it was more of a 3br house rather than 4br. Spacious with many amenities but there were numerous sticky notes around informing us of things that didn’t work or shouldn’t be used. The access road was gravel and not motorcycle friendly."

"We needed a place to freeze some packs for medication and these hosts went above and beyond to help. They also provided us with fresh eggs and blueberries from their homestead. Place was clean and she had the radio playing when we came in. So sweet! The water was warm and clear for us and was so nice to wade in. Two notes: There is no A/C (which I didn’t realize but that’s on me and not the fault of the listing) and if you come in August, bring some heavy duty deet bug spray. Mosquitos are no...

"This property was exactly what we were looking for. Stunning views and far away from the hustle of city life. The house was quaint and enough room for seven of us. There is no central air conditioning, just a heat pump on the first floor but opening the windows to the ocean air as Todd suggested was more than sufficient to cool the rooms down in the night. "Was not happy with getting the house code the day of our visit. We were out of cellphone range a lot and worried about getting it in time. Also, what happens if the owner had an emergency and could not get us the info? It was a bit too much stress for me. Location and home was very nice and clean. Enjoyed the stay after we got there."

"The location of this property was spectacular. We were able to walk the beach just steps from the door. The house was very comfortable. There was an adequate supply of bottled water to overcome the piped water which smelled off. We loved our stay. "

"Best vacation had in years, very Peaceful, very Private. The Host Susan and John are just the best, and awesome people. Next time I go to Nova Scotia will most definitely stay there, my wife daughter & I really had a fantastic time."

"This hotel does not deserve it's name. Look at the pictures. The window is held closed by a screw attached to some piece of wood, bed leg and bathroom sink legs are crooked. The toilet flush is in a inconvenient spot to say the least. The carpet is full of stains. There was a cricket under the bread which by the way free breakfast is cereals and toasts only. Do not waste your time, sleep in your car."
