"This property is a dump!! When we arrived it had not been cleaned from the previous rental. It is in a run down neighborhood in a run down building with many steps from the street to the unit. The bathroom was in poor condition aside from the cleanliness issue. Find something else, you have been warned!!"

"We spent the New Year on Bute and the was in the perfect location not only for its views over the Firth, but also for exploring the rest of the island. It did feel a little chilly on arrival, but with the clear instructions we were soon able to get it feeling nice and warm. "We arrived to the property and received a warm welcome with lots of thoughtful extras. The property is immaculately presented and full of homely touches which make it a real pleasure to stay in. The location of the property was ideal for our day trips exploring the local area. We had beautiful weather throughout our stay too which just enhanced our break. "Don't be put off any the tired exterior of Grove House. The apartment is well presented, well equipped though you must be prepared to climb 38 steps to get to this attic location. The upside is breathtaking views of the sea. Low star for communication is that although owner lives in ground floor there is no attempt to make personal contact. Odd."

Continental breakfast was of a good standard, cooked breakfast was varied with some items a little overcooked. Health suite facilities were of a good standard.
