Our Creekside Cottage is located only a mile from the Olympic Discovery Trail.

This cozy Creekside Cottage is just off Hwy 101, midway, between Sequim and Port Angeles. We are tucked away, in a quiet & peaceful little valley, with a creek running along side the lower yard. Enjoy this view from the fenced in backyard or take a stroll to refresh your senses.

The meadow below has a swing in the big maple which we HIGHLY recommend you try. Guests are welcome to use the fire pit as well.
This area is a great space to play games, exercise your dog, or just hangout. Night golf, cornhole and horseshoes are just a few of the games we have available for use.
Or just find a spot to sit down by the creek and take it all in!
The Olympic Discovery Trail is easy to get to and only a mile away for hiking or biking.

The bedroom is furnished with a very comfortable queen size pillow top mattress with all bedding. Built in dresser & closet for your convenience.

Our kitchen has a full size refrigerator, 4 burner stove with oven, crock pot, microwave, toaster & Keurig coffee maker. We have stocked the kitchen with all the tools you'll need to prepare meals and even do a little baking if you choose. In the cupboard are essential spices, olive oil, sugar, flour, coffee and a few other items. You will also find a gas BBQ in the backyard.

The bathroom has a shower & commode. We have provided cozy towels and washcloths. In the shower is a dispenser with Aussie shampoo, conditioner and Ivory body wash.
Unfortunately, the bathroom does not have a sink.

Relax in the living room and enjoy the electric fireplace, flat screen TV with DVD player. We have provided a lift top coffee table for your meals. The couch makes into a full size bed. Bedding provided. Or sit in the comfy Stress-less reclining chair with ottoman.

We are dog friendly and can provide a bed, dishes, etc. Please let us know breed and size of your furry friend and what needs you have.

We respect your privacy and hope you have a relaxing stay at our home. We are very neighborly people so don't be shy about waving "hello" if you see us out. We live 2 parking spaces from the cottage.
Which is why we have put up a privacy fence that seems to work quite well.

Come enjoy our sunshine, forests, salt water, and country living at its best. We look forward to your visit!

Highly Recommend!!
My partner and I had an absolutely amazing time on our stay. The property is huge and beautiful. We loved the fire pit, exploring the creek, and the tree swing! Cabins are clean, cozy, and comfortable. And Michelle and Mitch were so wonderful and generous. They went above and beyond to make our stay special!

Complete Bliss
Even though we stayed in the middle of winter and got snow, the property was quiet, relaxing and peaceful. Michelle and Mitch were available when needed but stayed in the background the rest of the visit. We would stay here again.

This little cabin is so well laid out and appointed. We had everything we needed and more. Michelle and Mitch are very nice people and super hospitable. The outdoors area is very special. The gurgling river with several sitting areas and the fire pit are so relaxing. We loved everything about our stay.

Olympic National Park Getaway
My fiancé and I stayed here to get away from home for a few days and visit Olympic National Park. We were very busy so weren’t able to meet Michelle in person, unfortunately, but the cottage was extremely cozy and had everything that we needed. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful
Lovely property, exactly as described. Small and cozy, perfect for our weekend getaway to visit family in the area. Friendly and welcoming hosts, clean, comfortable. Lots of amenities. We were there on a very rainy weekend, but there’s lots of wonderful outdoor space and activities. Kitchen was very usable and well stocked to meet all our cooking needs. Beds were comfortable and they even gave us a bed for our pups.

Excellent home base for our trip
We had an amazing stay! Michelle has this place set up wonderfully (go ahead and hit a couple of golf balls). We used this as our home base to visit the park over several days. Kitchen is set up to cook anything you want (saved us from having to hit restaurants for a lot of meals). All the amenities are exactly as she has listed. Saved us from overpacking. She really has thought of everything. Cute, cozy and comfy. We highly recommend this stay.

One of a kind
One of our best experiences renting a property. The host, Michelle, upgraded our stay without charge. The is not just a house, it became our temporary home. Very well appointed, but not overdone. Anyone who stays here will be rewarded with an outstanding experience.

Great experience
The cottage is small but very clean and functional. It has everything you need for a short time stay. The hosts are very nice and friendly. They are always willing to help make your stay more comfortable. There is a great backyard at the creak with a new fire pit, hemlock and swings. We enjoyed our time in the cottage and will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family for vacations.

Location was perfect for getting to Olympic National Park and Port Townsend. Michelle was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay there. Only negative was only having one sink (kitchen) in the unit.

Peaceful Getaway
Mitch & Michelle have created a personable, peaceful cottage where you can enjoy a relaxing vacation. I did lot of hiking in Olympic NP, so it was nice to return to such a comfy home at the end of a long day. I managed to lock myself out of the cottage one night and Michelle was kind enough to come and let me in, even though it was 9:00 p.m. While I was traveling solo, this would also be a great place for a couple or even those with kids, since they have set up a lot of entertainment options (horseshoes, golf, a fire pit) in the lovely backyard next to a peaceful creek!

The best hosts ever
Dave and I stayed at the cottage for the month of August. What a fun adventure. Mitch knows all the best places to explore in the Olympic National Park, and we were able to adventure everyday with kayaks and bicycles we brought with us. The property is right next to the Olymipc Discovery Trail, the Dungeness Recreation Area, and right in between Sequim and Port Angeles. The property has a miniature golf course on it with 5 holes, the creek is beautiful with sitting areas and fishing too. There is a hammock and fire-pit in the back yard for good times. Michelle is so wonderful, she checks in with us often and has the best little dogs too. The beds and accommodations are comfortable and perfect. These hosts are so amazing, they cooked ribs, and fish dinner, and fried clams, and we were able to have a dinner with the neighbors and friends too. The location of this property is perfect for exploring this incredible part of our country. I hope we get to stay here again. We traveled with a 24 foot RV and they were able to park it on the property for the month too.

The property was beautiful, amenities were fantastic, the hosts were so friendly and even let us play a round of night golf with them. We also caught a fish in the steam with a piece of corn. We used the fire pit and the grill and washed all our clothes after a week of hiking in Olympic. Felt just like home for our two days there. Thanks again for a fantastic experience!

Perfect little trip for my family
The property is amazing. From the cute cottage to the big open field to hang out in with a firepit, grills, tree swing, and hammock. We had no desire to leave to find something to do. The creek was perfect for the kids. Also, the hosts were so welcoming and great!

The Cottage was perfect! Clean and nicely decorated. Lots of personal touches made it especially nice! The grounds are well kept and huge! The forested creek below is beautiful and relaxing. Plenty of benches and chairs to enjoy the many private spots at the creek. A great fire pit area with bbq and chairs, swing, hammock, golf and more games available. We enjoyed the peace and quiet! Hosts on site and very accessible and helpful.

Great home base for Olympic National Park
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. There is a beautiful yard that extends down to a creek with plenty of quiet private sitting areas and a comfortable double hammock. I’m a bit of a towel snob and Michelle had nice fluffy bath towels and an ample supply. I rated communication a 4 because not getting an email with directions and instructions until 3 days out made me a bit anxious since we were already traveling by that date. We were warmly greeted by Michelle and her husband on our arrival and given a good orientation to the property. We didn’t learn about the availability of electric bikes until our last evening but that is certainly a great amenity! The location was very private and quiet and easy access from the main highway. It was a great location for Sequim and the Hurricane Ridge area of Olympic but if we did it again I might have booked a place near the Forks area for a portion of the time to cut down on driving since our primary focus was seeing as much of the park as we could. All in all we had a great stay and I would definitely highly recommend the Creekside Cotttage!
