Ocean Front - 180 degree view of Strait of Juan de Fuca

Welcome to Sea Retreat, jaw dropping panoramic views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca 120ft above the shore. The living room boasts 12 foot ceilings with 3 massive picture windows framing the Strait and Victoria view. On the south side the home is surrounded by majestic Olympic mountain peaks. Set on a very private 1/2 acre Sea Retreat is perfect for multi-family getaways, large families, or just a romantic retreat for two.

Please note we have wonderful neighbors on both sides that we know and trust. They can, and have, let us know if the house is being used for a party. If you are looking for a party house this house is not for you. Please respect our neighbors and you will have a memorable and pleasant stay.

The home features a 700sqft panoramic deck in the back and a fully fenced in yard for parent's peace of mind. In the kitchen you'll find new KitchenAid stainless steel appliances and quartz counter tops. The living room has a large sectional couch facing the ocean. A media room downstairs with a 70" 4k TV with Xbox One plus surround sound and an adjacent playroom with a tournament-sized pool table and a foosball table and bar. If you need to get a little work done, there's a large quiet Study with desk and chair and a laptop ready for use.

Sleeping quarters are split between the main floor and the second floor. The master is on the main floor with large en suite that includes a jetted soaker tub. There are two bedrooms and a loft on the second floor. NOTE: there are two ways to get to the loft. Either the exterior door from the deck or via the upstairs mountain-side bedroom through the room's closet.

Sea Retreat accommodates up to 14 guests, but we strive to maintain fairness for our single-family visitors by minimizing fees. If your booking exceeds 4 guests (the typical family size), an extra per-guest fee will apply to cover cleaning and turnover times for larger groups.

Sea Retreat is located just west of downtown Port Angeles, a 5-minute drive away. While you're down there enjoy the dining, walk the beautiful pier, catch a ferry to Victoria, or tour one of the numerous wineries.

Great location!
We like this house a lot! It was very close to town, with a beautiful view! We do wish they would have had a tv on the main floor so we could watch and see the view at the same time. They were so gracious to allow us to check in an hour early too after a long travel day.

Wonderful rental to stay for a family vacation. Was very clean & beautifully decorated. What a fantastic view! Had coffee on the deck every morning, listening to the waves swish up on the beach below & watching several deer in the backyard. There were so many extra ‘nice to haves’ from the selection of various spices & variety of kitchen appliances to wonderful bedding & several types of pillows to choose from. Located close to town, the ferry & Olympic National Forest, the location was great for us. Would 100% stay here again!

Very beautiful place
The location is very beautiful. We saw many deers roaming nearby. Awesome view of the beach. Overall very nice stay. Only the room in attic doesn’t have any direct access.

First of all, Gigi was a super friendly and helpful host and was very responsive to our questions prior to our arrival via text/phone. Regarding the property itself, there are enough bedrooms and bathrooms to house our group of 11 people spanning three generations easily. The primary bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and the access to the deck and lawn area made it easy to enjoy the property for people who are challenged by stairs. For kids, the media and game rooms in the basement were a big hit! Everyone enjoyed healthy meals prepared in a clean and functional kitchen. We were blessed with clear days with gorgeous views to the ocean and spectacular sunrise and sunset. Some deers also came to visit us in the backyard, adding more beauty to the nature we all came to enjoy. (We told the kids to enjoy wildlife at a distance.)

Relaxing & comfortable, nice house, great view in quiet neighborhood
House is nice, in a nice quiet neighborhood. View from the house, decks, and garden are great. House was clean and well-equipped. We really liked lounging and dining on the deck after a day of sightseeing and hiking on the Olympic Peninsula. Location is outside of town (10 min to most stores, restaurants). Can't get this nice a house much closer to Peninsula beaches and rainforests.

Wonderful family reunion site
Our extended family had a wonderful time at Sea Retreat! We loved the many spacious rooms and the cousins enjoyed the room with the 4 beds. The property was very well maintained and up to our germophobe standards. It was well stocked with kitchen items, extra sheets, comforters and towels; even tote bags for excursions. It was in a location that was only 30 min from Lake Cresent and Salt creek recreation center where we saw the most amazing tide pools. Hoh rainforest was 2 hours away and the line to enter took about 1.5 hours so make sure to go before 9am to avoid the wait. The living room that overlooks the ocean was my favorite place to relax and read and chat. Loved the game room with a beautiful pool table and foosball table and the game/movie room with the Xbox was a favorite for the teens and younger kids. There are deer everywhere!! The trail Nearby is great for a run. We made some great memories and there was something for everyone to do. Gigi was super helpful and responsive to my questions and concerns. Thank you!!

Excellent stay for a week with two families exploring Olympic National park
We had an awesome time staying at this house. There was plenty of space for the kids to spread out and play inside and outside. The sunsets on the patio were incredible. The kitchen was big and had everything needed to cook for two families. I couldn't recommend this house enough. Thanks Gigi!

The property kitchen is well stocked with the serveware to accommodate the capacity of the property and use the grill. The view is awesome. Be careful in use of the white interior designer touches in order to accommodate same day turnovers. Treading gently also is blessed with local antlered deer sightings in the backyard.

Amazing house!
This house was perfect for our group of twelve! The kids especially loved the game room downstairs and the bedroom they all could fit in. The views were unlike anything else. Each afternoon we would sit on the back porch and enjoy the view with our beverages of choice…generally we would hang out until dinner and then again after to watch the sunsets. So close to everything, too. Gigi was very attentive and helped us find the perfect spot to watch the fireworks for the Fourth of July. Highly recommend it!

Breathtaking Views
This property was perfect for our group of 12. We had three children under 6 and one teen and there was something for everyone. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed and the kids all enjoyed the basement/game room. My only issue is there is one room that could only be accessed through another room so it was a bit inconvenient for the person in that room that had 6 people sleeping in the adjacent room. Other than that, the property was perfect and location could not have been better. We were minutes from Hurricane Ridge and Crescent Lake and within 2 hours of Rialto Beach and Hoh Rainforest. Gigi was responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.
