"I hardly ever write reviews but I felt like I had to for the Raajkutir! Such an absolute gem of a hotel. Unremarkable from the outside, but once you enter the grounds are so beautiful and traditional in style, you can’t quite believe that the hustle and bustle of Kolkata is just the other side of the wall. The rooms are STUNNING, the food delicious, and the staff are falling over themselves to help you. I wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you Raajkutir! "

"Excellent, good breakfast and the food menu was varied at a reasonable price. Hotel was convenient for Eden Gardens cricket ground a good 20 min walk away but flat, despite England getting spanked there by 7 wickets it was great experience all the same 😉 The hotel has great history with lots of pictorial items on display, the guests list who have resided there is very interesting. "Everything was fine. Staff was friendly. Till on the last day. I showed them on the 2 rooms I booked including a total of 4 breakfast. Ut they insisted I did not. I booked one more room for a additional day. And it also showed breakfast included. I did not get the breakfast I paid for. And they were no longer friendly. They told me I need to get 3 taxi for the 5 people with luggages. And after we waited for them to get taxi (we cancelled our Uber) and then they said they can't get any...

"We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. This was one of the best stay we had. The hall mark of this stay was their food . I have no words to describe how tasty their food was. OMG they had so many items in breakfast that you name it and they had it. They must have an excellent cook who made every dishes so palatable and tasty. At least for the food they deserve 10 stars. If for no other reasons one must stay here for their food. You cannot go wrong for staying here. We are looking forward to...

"Very dirty bathrooms and room. Towel are all worn down. Vanity in the bathrooms have stain same with toilet seats. Service quality is also not appreciable, ordered a glass, it took them multiple reminders and over 45 mins to get. Ice bucket did not have any tong so had to use hands to take out ice cubes. "
