"We had a great time and we were able to make good food and enjoy the sounds of the river. I walked across the street and fished in the morning and it was great. "

"The cabin is in a perfect position to ski at monarch mountain and still make a trip into salida if you want to without much travel time. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was very roomy with everything you’d need. Overall it was the perfect place for my friends and I to stay for our ski trip! Would stay again if given the opportunity."

"Very well maintained and clean cabin, and our host was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We especially enjoyed the fireplace, the hot tub, and the privacy of the cabin. Outside of the master bedroom is a stream you can hear at night while sleeping. We had everything we needed and our kids are already asking to stay there again for future ski trips to Monarch. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!"

"As we drove down the road we took notice of all the nearby cabins and none have the views this one does. Incredible views and we got the “frequent visitors” our last morning there. Place is clean and can get really toasty if you want it to with the fireplace and heating. Fire pit and hot tub were great for the winter weather while we were there. Definitely will stay again. "

"the listing does not show the second bathroom on the 2nd floor which is actually ONLY a sink and toilet, no shower. There are 4 bed area's on the 2nd floor, but in order to use the extra shower, it is located down stairs just outside the laundry room and the entrance to the Sauna. thankfully, we had 5 males and 1 female with her husband who stayed in the bedroom downstairs with a full bathroom outside their doorway. We made it work, but if you plan on taking a shower while in a bathroom,...

"We had a a great time at Star Mesa as did our dog! Great views from the cabin both inside and outside. It was an extremely cold weekend yet the cabin stayed nice and warm. "
