Get away from the stress and strain of life at this romantic mountain cabin.

Private Mountainside Getaway nestled among the cedars of the Mission Valley mountainside, this newly-renovated cabin is a refreshing destination, a romantic getaway, or a cozy home base for a Montana adventure. At the end of a private road, 1/8 mile from the main house, it is completely secluded.

Easy to get to, but completely off the grid, this clean cabin is comfortable night and day with electric heat / air conditioning. Features full-size washer and dryer, and full-time wifi.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered balcony -- in your pajamas, if you like! Relax by the creek as you watch the water tumble over the rocks, explore the shaded cedar groves and ferns along the mossy creekside, and let the stress of busy life melt away as you breathe the clean mountain air.

Make dinner together in the full-size kitchen, grill on the patio (propane grill provided), or call a local restaurant for delivery.

2 bedroom, 1 bath, enclosed garage parking, full kitchen, laundry, and wifi.

Upstairs features vaulted ceilings with timber beams. Main livingroom, kitchen and dining for 4 are upstairs as well as the bathroom/shower. The balcony overlooks a small pond and fish hatchery that houses Westslope Cutthroat trout during spawning season. Upstairs bedroom has a king size bed with vanity sink and large closet.

Bedroom on lower level has a queen size bed, full size couch and television. There is also a cozy reading nook on the lower level as well as a washer and dryer.

Accommodations are on 160 acres of private land with a creek and walking trails just outside the door. Surrounding area is tribal wilderness.

We live in the main house 1/8 mile away and work from home so are available to answer questions or offer assistance at anytime.

We have been off the grid for over 25 years. The hydroelectric generator provides power for three houses so there are a few guidelines regarding use of the high power consumption utilities (oven and dryer).

During the winter months we do our best to maintain the road but do recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle.

Everything we needed and more!
This beautiful cabin is exactly as pictured! It was so clean and included everything we could need down to the smallest details! My husband and I have pretty stressful jobs and this trip was the perfect place to rest and reset. We loved the remote feel while still being close to other towns! We had a wonderful time in nearby Polson and also drove up to Glacier for the day! Highly recommend you stay here and we hope to return soon!

Classy Cabin In The Woods
We arrived late at night, after driving on a long dirt road in the dark to a cabin that was all lit up in the middle of seemingly nowhere. It was a welcoming sight. There is a staircase that if your taller than 5'2" you may hit your head on, but that is all forgiven when you arrive at the 2nd floor. The cabin is immaculate, well appointed and beautifully decorated. They provide a Keruig, coffee pods and biscotti! Also various spices and refridgerated items. Everything you need in a kitchen to enjoy a home made meal, just bring your own food and your set. There is no dishwasher. They do have a clothes washer and dryer. You really feel like your in a luxury hotel. The views from each window are amazing. Lots of trails nearby to enjoy. You can hear the running creek. Easy check in and check out. The hosts are awesome and are neaby if needed for anything and are very available to communicate with. We are looking forward to staying again. There really is no place like it in the nearby area. Thank you for such a memorable and delight stay at your cabin!

We stayed here for 2 nights and loved this charming cottage away from everything. We explored the property on some trails nearby and liked the views up top. Nancy was a great host. Will tell friends and family about this place.

Relaxing vacation in the cedars!
My kids (ages 7 & 20) and I LOVED our stay! The house was beautiful and unbelievably peaceful. I have no complaints! We hired a local photographer (Caroline Antionette) from Polson to take our pictures at the Ninepipes Wildlife Refuge, visited Glacier National Park, Wild Horse Island in the Flathead Lake and the National Bison Range. It was an amazing trip out west!!

Gorgeous and Peaceful!
We have been traveling west from Tennessee to Montana and we’ve stayed many places- this cabin was a highlight of our trip! Nancy has made it so cozy and homey with all of the beautiful details! She was there to meet/greet us when we arrived and was such a gracious and thoughtful host! I’m so glad we found this cabin. Pictures don’t even do it justice, it’s that *beautiful*!

Little hidden gem
Our stay was amazing from the time we drove up the driveway. Not only was the house extremely cute and homey, it was well stocked and very very clean. We enjoyed the scenery and a nice evening walk. We were delighted from the moment we drove in to the cabin until we departed. Nancy, our host, was lovely and welcoming, the cabin was beautifully decorated and so very cozy and comfortable. So many amenities and just sooo much charm. A lot of love went into readying this property for our stay! Thank you so much. Wish it had been for a week instead of a night! Next time!!

Quiet, relaxing, excellently decorated. Enjoy outdoor star gazing by the fire, cook over the fire pit, enjoy the sounds of the rushing stream. Wonderful and peaceful, wished we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend.

Nice cabin right up in the mountains. Beautiful scenery. Host very good. Lots of places to hike. Fairly steep drive up and not a lot of flat yard space, but we had a great time.
