"The place exceeded our expectations. We get together every year - we are all seniors and usually go to Hocking Hills. We had to move up our stay this year and decided to try this place based on what we saw online. It was great because it had all the bedrooms on the first floor. The only thing we would suggest is that you have more kitchen chairs we had to bring some folding chairs."

"Lewis Cottage is just what we were looking for. A simple quiet cabin in the woods but an easy 20 min drive to anything you would need. The two person hot tub was the best way to unwind after the day of exploring. Would most definitely stay again."

"The house is humongous, very clean and a great space To spread out. We did a girls weekend filled with adventures at the local waterfalls and downtown Ohiopyle, as well as a bunch of little craft Projects that we were able to comfortably do because of the large space.. "Lovely, clean cottage with all amenities necessary for a relaxing weekend with friends. Beds were comfortable. House well maintained. Hot tub was at 100 degrees when we got there. One note to female travelers: One of the neighbors has a drone and flew it over us while we were in the hot tub. This spooked me since we were staying in the middle of the woods. "We spent five nights at the Place in the Pines in mid-September. The property was clean, comfortable and perfect for two people. Although there are no biking or hiking trails within walking distance of the house, it's an easy drive to Ohiopyle, the GAP trail, and other trails in nearby West Virginia. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if we schedule another vacation in the area. "
