"We had an amazing time at this gorgeous cottage! You couldn't want for anything. Immaculate, clean and the most delightful location - views over fields with ample parking (courtesy of the adjacent hotel, which also served drinks and lovely food), and just a few minutes walk into the town centre where you could find anything you needed. Sharon & Emily were fabulous! We arrived far earlier than check in but for Emily, that was no problem - she kindly came over straight away and let us in/showed us...

"The main positive about the cottage is the location - it is just a few minutes walk to the waterfront and barbican area where you will find everything you need for a wonderful visit to Plymouth. The cottage however is not a very restful place to stay. There are 2 quite challenging staircases to negotiate which include places where you have to duck to avoid banging your head. The bedroom is on the top floor and the only toilet is on the ground floor so it is particularly difficult if you need to...

"Lovely cottage, the owner reached out prior amd asked us about cot / highchair and then advised the best way to get there as the lanes arent great however nice and easy to find! Cottahe was immaculate! Everything within driving distance. We took our 2yr old daughter, plenty of space for her to run around and plenty of room to set up cot in either spare room, master room was lovely and spacious, wouldnt hesitate to go there again!"

"Great location for exploring the area, beautiful views - imagine would be even better in summer. Nice accommodation, fairly well equipped, but showers and heating could be better (couldn’t use the fire as no fire guard - we have dogs)."

Booking in was a nightmare as Plymouth didn't have a phone signal anywhere that day for some reason, so made it all a bit stressful. Cottages.com didn't put the codes on the email and its isn't very clear when you book through vrbo that its another company that send the email out. looks like spam. "We had a lovely stay in Providence Cottage. It is spacious; beautifully decorated and warm and cosy during a cold and stormy stay. And perfect for early morning dips from the adjacent slipway."

"Place is great. Really nice conversion of the original buildings. All amenities thought of. Everything worked. Parking area always had spaces available. The area itself has loads of restaurant choices. In the evening it feels very safe lots of families walking around using the restaurants. 34 bus from town will also drop you off right outside Royal William Yard. The only negative I can think of is the flat was quite hot and couldn't really cool it down as windows are small. But a decent fan...
