"A new hotel - I stayed on the 6th floor which was clearly brand new. The hotel was very clean and a pleasant stay overall. Some teething issues in that some of the appliances were not working (microwave) as they were brand new and not used before, but I am sure these will be ironed out in due course. "Loved the hut, enjoyed our stay. I brought a 3 course meal with me. So no need to eat out! Lovely and cosy. I would have liked a small saucepan to do porrige in morning. We managed with a big one!! I also wasnt good with lighting the gas rings. I would prefer a long lighter . And no hooks for towels when wet out of shower. In bedroom there were a few cobwebs and spiders in nooks and crannies. Whilst not scared, I felt these had been on ceiling and edges for some time. However bed very cosy....

"Martyn was very accommodating and informative. The place was as described, and everything was in working order. It was actually more spacious than the pictures did justice. We felt very much at home. The only issue is the parking, on the weekend in the summer parking by any beach area is difficult, and it was the case here as well. We found it much easier to find parking at night, and leaving your car there over night, but looking for a spot in mid day is challenging."

"A deceptively spacious accommodation which easily slept 9 adults. The kitchen was well stocked with the usual items and smoothly led onto the dining area and garden area. The living room and bedrooms were really tastefully decorated and again, spacious. Would I use this accommodation again? Yes, it met our needs, nicely located for a walking weekend and our host was very helpful in answering all our questions"

"We were after a short break in the area away from the city life and this was the place. The wildlife is just amazing on your doorstep and the local walks are really good too. It was lovely to sit out in the garden in the evening and hear only the wildlife and watch the birds in there abundance on the feeders. Everything you could need at the cottage is provided. Jan & Nick are close at hand if you ever need anything and are easy to talk too."

"Lovely place for our short weekend trip. Property was well kept, clean, well stocked and roomy. Overall park was nice but not many facilities for young children (the play park could be much better) however the pool was great baby pool well heated! Great location close to amenities and Hastings town. Owner responsive and helpful. Thank you for a great stay"

"The flat is a nice place. Directly to the sea (2 Minutes from the Beach). My partner found the time there so beautiful that she left one of her healing stones in the apartment as a surprise and as a small lucky charm out of gratitude. The weather was great er had a very good time."

"This is our second stay at Stone Green Oast, and it was just as nice this time as it was six years ago. The oast itself is a neat building, very comfortable inside, with everything one could want. Immaculately kept, everything works, beautiful view of the gardens, pleasant outside seating. Amanda and Andrew are perfect hosts, making us feel very welcome, and were always available in case of need. We hope to be able to return again soon."

"We were 6 old school friends, mid 50s looking to relax and reconnect. The house and location, views, garden, matresses, sheets - all was perfect. The heating system had a glitch that the owner deslt with and fixed immediately ( well a day or so after we finally confessed we were unable to use the high tech water/ heater syatem). "Really lovely stay in this quiet little Oast House. We stayed in a round room, beautifully decorated with ensuite shower room. Tea and coffee and biscuits, TV in room. Plenty of drawers and cupboard space for clothes. Room clean and tidy. Breakfast was lovely, and everyone was so friendly. We also had an excellent roast dinner on the Sunday. Just a short walk into Rye, which was a bonus. Would totally recommend it, and we hope to stay there again. "

"Not only does the hotel look grand on the outside it’s excellent on the inside too. From the friendly welcome at reception to the exceptionally well appointed bedroom I couldn’t fault this lovely hotel. From the thick fluffy towels to the little cartons of milk on the hospitality tray that did indeed “taste like real milk” just as it said on the lid… everything I needed was thoughtfully provided….tissues and a little biscuit to go with my cuppa…..the little things that so many hotels have now...
