Located in Playacar Pase I; a gated community of high-end homes and is adjacent to the downtown area of Playa Del Carmen. La Quinta Avenida (Fifth Avenue) is a short walk from Casa Miramar where shops, restaurants, cafes, art galleries, water sports, tours, bars, and live entertainment are located. This home has everything you could want. With marble flooring throughout and completely equipped with amenities, Casa Miramar has fabulous view of the ocean can be enjoyed from almost every room and especially from the comfortable patio adjacent to the private pool or the spacious 2nd floor terrace. Both the patio and terrace are perfect spots from which to enjoy the ocean breeze and spend time with your family and friends.

Almost 300 square feet of construction with 2 stories, this spacious 4 bedroom and 4 bathrooms home is fully air-conditioned with ceiling fans in each of the bedrooms. The first floor features 3 bedrooms, comfortable living room with large flat screen TV, dining room and kitchen. The first of two master bedrooms is located on this floor and has a king bed, while the other downstairs bedrooms each have two double beds. The master bedroom located on the second floor also has a king bed and boasts a spectacularly magnificent view of the sparking Caribbean.

Beautiful Stay at Casa Miramar!
We really enjoyed our stay with my hubby, adult children and their friend and my 89 year old mother-in -law. The hosts were extremely receptive to the minor issues that we had and the villa is beautiful and spacious and right across the street from the beach. There is not much beach at that location so you do need to walk down a bit to the right for a better beach but it was very convenient. The villa is well appointed with a few minor exceptions but the hosts responded immediately and took care of everything we requested, including bringing us a TV for one of the bedrooms that did not have one. We would happily visit again.

Perfect villa
Wow, we had a great stay at this spacious villa. It is accurate that it is right across the small non-busy street to the beach. Check-in was smooth and the communication was the best out of any vacation rental property I have had, so quick with responses, super helpful with everything we asked for, and easy with WhatsApp. We had Chef Daveed come for a few nights during our stay and that was great to not have to worry about dinner. The house itself was super clean and the cleaners came every 3 days, beds were comfortable. Having a washer / dryer was great also and a full kitchen to cook with. The pool was nice but it got really hot during the mornings, we used it mostly in the later afternoon when there was shade. They provided beach chairs and an umbrella. We appreciated that it was a guarded complex with multiple nice houses so that made us feel very safe. We also walked into town multiple times and felt super safe. Note it is about a 10 minute walk to get out of the complex into town but you can also call a taxi directly with WhatsApp to come in front of the house. Overall we would definitely recommend and stay here again. Thank you for the hospitality Mercedes and Patricia!!

Excellent property just feet from the beach
The property is absolutely excellent. I've stayed at properties where the A/C works intermittently and there aren't many units. This wasn't the case at Miramar. There was one unit in the dining room, one in the living room, and one for each bedroom. They all worked flawlessly. The condition of the house was excellent, has a pool by the front entrance, and the beach was literally across the street. The property is located in a gated community that is actively patrolled by security, and felt very safe. There were restaurants nearby, a small mall, and the pier where you could catch a ferry to Cozumel. The only thing that was somewhat inconvenient was getting groceries. There weren't many places to shop for groceries without going a mile our or so. Catching a taxi was a must or you'd be walking a while with who knows how much in your hands. Taxis were plentiful, which made it easy, luckily. I would absolutely stay here again in the future. I stayed with family, and the house easily slept 8, with two of the rooms equipped with two beds, and the other two rooms having one larger bed. Four bathrooms meant no fighting for a shower or a toilet, and the house was well stocked with soap, shampoo, towels, toilet paper, and hand soap. There were also plenty of bath towels and beach towels. If all this host's properties are as well maintained and stocked as this, I would have no qualms about staying at any of them.

Family vacation
There were 8 adults in our group and we had plenty of space. Location was great and we felt safe. Pool was a little smaller than we expected but it worked out fine. A two minute walk to the ocean was easy to do.

Paradise!
We loved the house! The pool was a hit with the kids. The beach was very close & beautiful from the balcony. The beach did have a good amount of seaweed, some days worse than others. House cleaners were great. AC worked well in each room. The walk was the only downfall. A good 10-12 minutes just to exit the neighborhood which was tiring for the smaller children. Taxi's charged approx $32 UDS for 1 mile. All in all, we would definitely come back.

What an amazing property! Spacious, comfortable, and with all the amenities we could have ever asked for. Very responsive property manager, easy check-in and check-out, and only steps away from the beach. Literally everything was perfect.

Amazing location, steps to the beach & close to 5th Ave
Wonderful, spacious home just steps from the beach. We enjoyed the beach view from the pool area and especially from the upper balcony. 5th Avenue is just a short walk (via the streets, not the beach) to many restaurants, shops & night life. The team at Casa Miramar made our stay a delight by stocking the house with groceries in advance, connecting us with Chef Daveed who prepared a few meals and hosted a cooking class for us, & connecting us with Alejandro who arranged excursions for us. It was a fantastic week with our family of 6. The house is as shown in the pictures, with the upgrade of a granite table & 8 chairs by the pool, but unfortunately the shade tarp on the upper balcony was no longer there. The upper balcony is accessible via a door separate from the upstairs bedroom which was a nice surprise. The house was well stocked...TP, paper towel, shampoo with conditioner, soap, coffee filters, laundry detergent, pool towels, coffee maker & blender, etc. Only ziploc bags or more containers were missing. Overall, Casa Miramar is a fantastic place to spend a vacation and we'd highly recommend it.

Great Property Close to the Ocean
We had a great visit at Casa Miramar. The property was exactly as described and the views were stunning. We were surprised at how close we were to the beach. It was less than a minute walk. The house was clean, and the property managers were attentive. It's a very spacious house. We had 8 total and we were able to spread out comfortably. We were pleasantly surprised how large the house was. The only issue we had was with the hot water. The tankless water heater had to be re-set the first day. Fortunately the handy man showed us how to do it, because we had to reset it multiple times each day to avoid cold showers.

Great vacation getaway
This place was exactly what we expected. The host communicated right away with any questions we had. The house was super clean and exactly how the pictures were in the listing. It was right on the beach and if the kids did not want to be in the ocean they could swim in the pool. We have a big family and the house was perfect for all of us to spread out and not feel like we were right on top of each other. The community was very secure and we felt super safe walking around when we needed to go shopping. I highly recommend this for large groups and families!!!

Wonderful PlayaCar residence
We were initially 6 family members but 2 were not able to join us. Everything about this trip was wonderful. The house was exactly as shown and there was plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy our time together. We spent a lot of time in the swimming pool and beach access was literally right across the street. A really great moonrise one night. Something I do not see at home. Kudos to Mercedes and her staff. The setup was wonderful.

Incredible house in Playacar
We recently stayed at this amazing house with family and friends, and had an amazing time. The house is very spacious with an amazing upstairs patio overlooking the ocean. The house had every amenity and was very close to the beach. The pool was a great addition, the kids loved it. The check-in process was very easy. They met us late at night and had quick communication. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants to be close to the beach and be walkable to the main street at Playa del Carmen.

Family Christmas
Perfect for a family. Our family consisted of a couple in our early 70s, our two daughters and their husbands in their mid to late 40s and our three grandchildren aged 8, 9 and 10. Each couple and the children had their own bedroom and bathroom. The casa is big enough for a family to visit together, in small groups or to have privacy. Soundproofing is excellent, so those going to bed early or staying in bed late were not bothered by those who were up. The on site pool was a hit, as was the nearby ocean. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything was spotless. The host, Mercedes O'Farrell, was excellent. She answered our questions promptly and handled issues around credit card limits and flight cancellations over Christmas quickly and efficiently. Top marks. One possible concern is the distance to restaurants and stores for children and people with mobility problems. But taxis are ubiquitous and cheap.

Amazing house located just steps from beach
We loved staying at Casa Miramar! House and rooms are the perfect size to easily accommodate large groups. We were just steps from the beach and had views of the ocean the entire stay. It’s very easy to walk to shops and restaurants as well as get a taxi or schedules transportation. Property is more than safe and everyone we encountered was friendly! I also highly recommend scheduling at least one meal with Chef Daveed as you will not be disappointed!

The home is beautiful with lots of space for a family. The location is perfect for walking to the beach, dinner, shopping or the ferry to Cozumel. We lived in the pool! The host, Mercedes, was very responsive and helpful with scheduling activities and providing information. Great house!

Property as described! Mercedes was great to deal with and the rental process was super easy. Location is across from beach, 10 minute walk to cab stand and 15 minutes to fifth. AC worked in all rooms, not much for English TV but enjoyed Hockey in Spanish. Pool was glorious and needed, excellent hiding spot on second floor for sun late afternoon. Only complaint is of 115 knives in the house not one is sharp enough to cut a banana! Kingdom for one sharp knife, lol. Water came daily, pool cleaned very 3 days along with maid service. Made a new freind in an orange tabby named Chedder. If anyone rents property she loves dry cat food and a belly rub. Great two weeks in a perfect time of year, can’t wait to come back.

Love this property!
This property was just as described and in a great location. Close to the beach and close to town. We loved the huge pool and spent many hours in it every day of our visit. The upstairs deck was beautiful and had a great view of the ocean. The house had everything we needed for a great stay. Mercedes was a wonderful host and easy to communicate with. Overall our stay was amazing and we would recommend it to all of our friends!
