"Our family had a great time in La Fortuna! The check in process was straightforward and Karen was very responsive anytime we needed to contact her. We had a little issue with the safe and Karen arrived within the hour to give us the key and resolve the issue. The air conditioning worked well, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was as described. Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"The villa has a great view of the lake and is extremely quiet. It’s secluded but still close to the main road and we felt like it was a safe area The directions provided by the owner are good but it is hard to find at night. The furniture, bedding and amenities are pretty old but we were not expecting 5 star. We loved Nuevo Arenal compared to the very touristy La Fortuna but there are of course more activities there. Overall very happy with the villa"

"What a beautiful property. The pool was warm and magical. The beds were so comfortable. Lots of warm water. Not within walking distance of town, but the magic of the place was a fine trade-off. "

"Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in einem ausgesprochen gutem Ambiente. 5 Sterne sind ganz sicher angebracht. In der Villa einzig gefehlt hat die Spülmaschine. Sonst war alles Top und perfekt eingerichtet. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen, auch wenn der Regen im Februar sehr heftig war. "

"Nice house in a small neighborhood right in the middle of the jungle with easy access to la fortuna. Saw many birds, including toucans. We thought the neighbors had a sick donkey the first several days only to find out it was howler monkeys in the trees behind the property. "

"Great rustic house in La Fortuna. Pool was great! And the air conditioning cooled down the place quick. House is located in a neighborhood away from downtown but it was easy enough to take an Uber. Communication with the manager was easy and they got supplies over to me quickly. Mary’s bbq down the street was an easy walk, and there are some little stores. This house was perfect for our group of 14 over the Easter holiday. Thank you again!!"

"Incredible setting and a very nice place. The view of Lake Arenal and volcano are truly wonderful especially since they are constantly accented by hummingbirds, toucan's, tanagers and countless other colorful critters. It was nice having restaurants and shops close by.attractions is wonder"

"Stayed for four nights and absolutely had an amazing time in the La Fortuna area and at this property. Everything was very well maintained, clean, and cared for. Property grounds are immaculate - as others have mentioned - photos do not do it justice. We saw large iguanas and a sloth on the property, which was an unexpected treat. The separation of the rooms/casitas gave everyone privacy and plenty of room to spread out. The location was close to everything - chocolate tours, night walk, and not...
