"This was perfect for what we needed as we had an event at the Foxwood Casino. It wasn't too far from Mystic which was good for us when we wanted to venture out. The only thing I would say needs to be clarified is that, though there is AC, it's a window unit in one bedroom down stairs and one upstairs. "What a lovely stay we had at the 1784 Denison Home. The historical items and decor of the house made for great exploring inside, and the well-appointed grounds were comfortable for lounging outside. The myriad small, thoughtful touches, including upon our arrival, were very appreciated, and communication with the hosts was excellent from the time of booking through our departure. "My wife and I loved our stay there in Mystic. The house is beautifully set up and Bill and Heather are great, responsive hosts. The house has plenty of room for a group and all the amenities. It was a perfect place for our relaxing getaway. We plan to stay again!"

"My stay at this rental was deeply unsettling and unsafe. The apartment itself has a creepy, neglected vibe, and it only got worst. A serious safety issue occured when a teenager in our group fell through a rotted, unstable deck/ a terrifying and completely preventable accident. Even more concerning, the entrance code to our apartment was the same code used for all other units in the building. This made me feel extremely unsafe as anyone from another unit could have accessed ours at any time....

"The property is absolutely beautiful. My wife and I stayed here with our three pups and it was perfect. There's a fenced in little area for the dogs with a doggy door inside and a ramp so they could go as they needed to without needing to hook them up to their leashes or carry them to the fenced in area which was a major plus early in the morning while the grass is dewy and at night to avoid the mosquitoes (because there are plenty of those.) "This was a great house for our annual cousins' trip! The first level has all of the bedrooms, living room and kitchen. I will flag that you could hear everything from the bedrooms that was happening in the living rooms so may not be the best fit for light sleepers. Big, beautiful backyard!! "

"A Treasure Map.Secret messages. Riddles. Tiny hidden fairy houses. Underhill Hollow is its own little world. Completely enchanting! The Treehouse is beautiful and cozy and the property is just pure magic!...woods, a pond, stone walls, bridges and trails perfect for exploring! The hosts..both human and animal...goats,sheep,chickens,cats a dog and many frogs are fabulous. Can't recommend this place highly enough! "

"Stayed here NYE because it was close to an event we were going to. Such a cute farm! Michael was a great host and was very friendly, responsive, and accommodating. He greeted us and took us to meet his sweet goats and sheep! The steampunk house was unique with surprises everywhere. Very happy with our stay!sweet"

"Our family of six (plus grandma and our dog) had a perfect eight night stay! We were in town for a national dance competition at Foxwoods and this was a great retreat for us. We had everything we needed and the property was easy to get to and very welcoming. Had one question for the owner during our stay and received a response very quickly.
