Two private South-West facing Screened porches allow for Morning Sunshine, Magnificent Views of the Gulf, Palms and Pool. This 1 bedroom island retreat offers plenty of room for entertaining family and friends with an additional option to create a 2nd sleeping area. Beautifully furnished with everything you'll need to enjoy your vacation. Located in the exclusive Placida Beach Condominiums on Little Gasparilla Island with only 5 buildings & 30 total condominiums offers quiet privacy. Boat friendly dockage for your boat (22 ft. max) and/or mainland car parking is secured and gated where you can ride the associations (free!!) passenger Ferry 10 minutes to the boat access only island where 7 miles of white sand beach to roam, shell, hunt for shark teeth or fish. The island is treasured by those who have “discovered” it. Walk over the boardwalk to the beach looking left & right – seeing only shore birds & dolphin or venture out on the water to the most Prime Fishing & Kayaking Florida has to offer. Come enjoy the tranquility of this Island Retreat in the best Gulf front location.

If your travel plans involve early or late arrival/departures via Punta Gorda or Fort Myers, ask about availability for night stay at our Punta Gorda Marina property!

We loved visiting LGI for nearly 20 years so in 2017 we decided to make it even more of a part of our lives; we are excited to be able to share the islands beauty with our guests!

Please remember you will be on a private island, the TV and WiFi are by satellite, there are occasional disruptions, especially if there is a weather event, we will do everything we can to help regain service and appreciate your patience.

The condo was very comfortable and provided really quick and easy access to the beach. The beach itself was incredible - delicious water for swimming, amazing and abundant shells and miles of open, unpopulated sand to walk and explore! The pictures and descriptions of the condo and beach are accurate. The sunsets are into the water and spectacular every single night! If you love the beach, the ocean and the quiet of living in it's rhythm, then you will love Lisa and Chris's place. Lisa and Chris were quick to answer questions and ready to be helpful in making our stay wonderful!

Lisa and Chris's place was absolutely wonderful and comfortable. They were great communicators and very responsive. We loved staying at the private and exclusive Little Gasparilla Island. The 10 minute ferry ride was easy and once we got to the island it was easy to get our things to the condo. We got to enjoy a lot of long walks. I've never seen so many seashells on a beach. At dusk we got to see the dolphins and great sunsets. At night we walked the beach with headlamps. Sitting on the decks of the condo we could hear the ocean all day and night. Adventuring on the island, we found Hoots Library. The history of the island is really interesting too. Everyone we met on the island was very nice. This place is definitely paradise. Thanks Lisa and Chris!

• We had a wonderful time at Lisa and Chris’s place, the location was beautiful and they were very responsive. Loved hanging out on the screened in deck in the evening with the sun setting over the water. Check-in and check-out were very easy, we brought our 1-year old and it wasn’t stressful at all. To any others with children, we were able to rent baby items from a place in Englewood (pack-n-play) and have them delivered right to the mainland security gait prior to arrival which saved us any hassle. Beautiful desolate island, would definitely stay here again!

• Best value on the island!! Lisa & Chris’ communication was second to none. Central part of the island and the beach was incredible.

• Paradise! Lisa and Chris's apartment is exactly how they have it pictured. Beach is a 30 second walk down a boardwalk. Beach is gorgeous it is full of shells, sand dollars and even shark teeth on shore!! Sunsets are breathtaking. It was very easy to communicate with Lisa and Chris, they were always very helpful and informative with any questions we had. Little Gasparilla island is a hidden gem perfect for a quiet getaway, Lisa and Chris's place is the perfect home to enjoy the island! We will definitely be back!

As close to all inclusive you can get
Whenever we arrived to the property we found it than described. I was pleasantly surprised that each time I thought of something I needed to cook, wanted to use at the beach or harbor, I looked and it was there. We felt spoiled by how well Lisa and Chris stocked and cared for the condo. We spent 7 nights and enjoyed every one. We are already planning a return trip because we did not want to leave.

Absolutely amazing! Due to the ferry being out of service Lisa not only offered to pick up our groceries ahead of our arrival, but fully stocked everything for us!! She was SO considerate and sweet to work with! This place is just wonderful!

First timers on LGI with plans to return!
My family and I had a great time staying here for our first time on Little Gasparilla Island! We came with a 2 and 4 year old and were nervous about packing for a week trip on an island with little ones but Lisa and Chris did everything possible to make it all easier and a perfect trip. Was pleasantly surprised with the size and quality of the washer/dryer doing so much laundry with a young family. The hosts were SO GOOD at communicating to make sure that we could navigate having a seamless trip despite being on an island. We didn't leave the island once between our arrival and departure and found so many neat sharks teeth. Locals and frequenters are all so kind and helpful! The soundproofing between the condos was surprisingly impressive! Thanks again for a wonderful vacation!

Perfect getaway to relax and unplug/unwind.
Just so much to say about this property, it’s simply amazing. It’s been recently a remodeled after the recent hurricane. The condo has everything you could want. It’s very relaxing, very close to the beach, And tons of amenities that the hosts include. The included mainland gated parking and ferry was also great without adding an additional cost to this stay. The beach was amazing more shells than a person could even count. We walked the whole island several times and didn’t find a golf cart necessary. The hosts were very punctual with responses to questions, And in addition, provided the changes to the summer ferry schedule. They also gave us many recommendations for mainland restaurants. Just simply a beautiful place with great hosts and an amazing remodeled condo right next to the beach. Everything we could have asked for was right here on this hidden gem. Thanks Lisa & Chris

Beautiful and Peaceful - June 4 thru June 11, 2022
This was everything we hoped it would be. Uncrowded, beautiful beach. Able to find a spot on the beach every day minus too many people. Condo was great - had everything we needed for our stay. The people we did meet were friendly. Ferry service was good. Marshall and Michael were both welcoming. Would recommend Lock ‘N Key Englewood Beach and Placida Grill for dinner on the mainland. Lisa was always quick to respond to my questions. Very good experience overall and will hopefully be back. Perfect place for a sunset proposal as my boyfriend proposed our second night there. 😊

Spring Vacation
Very nice location for those looking for a relaxing island experience. We previously visited in 2019 and will definitely return. The condo is safe, quiet and comfortable. The owner kept us updated with changes to the ferry service. Easy access to a wonderfully long beach with lots of sea shells and warm gulf water for swimming.

Outstanding place to stay!
Gorgeous location aside (not to diminish that- wow!), the property was lovely. It was clean, nicely stocked, and comfortable. The hosts were attentive and helpful. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise! Would love to stay here again.

Quiet, Relaxing vacation!
We loved our stay in this condo! It is beautifully decorated and clean. The 2 patios, ocean views, and comfy bed were wonderful! No traffic noise and very few people on the beach. Enjoyed relaxing by the pool! It was a pleasure to cook in the well stocked kitchen. I appreciated the host reminding us to get groceries before taking the ferry to the island. (It’s a short walk from the dock to the condo. Less than 5 min.) The ferry runs every day and is easy to schedule. Michael, the Captain sold us some of his fresh snapper and it was DELICIOUS !!! Everyone we met was so friendly! This is a cozy community and we look forward to going again! Chris and Lisa are fantastic hosts! (Beach umbrellas and chairs, boogie boards, kayaks, they think of everything!!!)

Great access to the beach. Quiet beach in September. If you like collecting shells. Lots to pick from. Biggest problem is like of ferry service. We shopped for groceries prior to arrival, therefore we never left the island for our stay

AMAZING
Our stay was AMAZING!!! I loved every second of our much needed get away. Being able to wake up every morning on the island was great, we had two patios & a spacious living room to relax in which was very convenient. Everything was immaculate inside the condo, very clean and lot of things to cook with. The only thing is that if you are planning on going please make sure you get groceries for the night before going because the water taxi can be very expensive and there’s no stores on the island! there is one pizza place but it only runs on thursdays fridays & saturdays, we weren’t able to try it but we’ll have to next time. i HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone!

Beautiful condo on Little Gasparilla island
The owners are awesome to work with. The condo was clean and well stocked. It has a view of the Gulf of Mexico as well as the pool. The neighbors were all friendly. The ferry boat was simple to utilize. The owners have beach gear, charcoal grill, and everything you would need. We enjoyed walking the beach, the sunsets, etc.

Too short beach vacation
My husband & I rented this beachfront condo for a few days while we checked on our renovation in placida harbour. The condo was great, very cute and comfortable and the hosts were extremely accommodating as we had to change our original dates. Our only regret was that we didn’t get enough beach time due to our own Reno issues. I highly recommend staying here.
