Beautifully furnished studio cottage designed with guest comfort in mind! Fully appointed kitchen with appliances, including stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. Bedroom is comfortably furnished with crisp new linens, pillows and bed coverings. Living room includes Smart HDTV and gas fireplace, adjacent full bathroom with stackable washer and dryer. Outdoor patio with BBQ, free high-speed Wi-Fi, onsite parking for up to two vehicles and key-less access.

Guests have full access and complete privacy inside the home. Instructions for access, check-in, checkout and directions to the home are provided in the house manual on VRBO. When checking out, please be sure all windows and doors are locked prior to your departure.

Perfect get away
The quiet and peacefulness from when I arrived until I left this property was wonderful! I loved the nature and being able to take numerous walks around the area. The cottage is very comfortable and serene.

Best kept secret hideaway
This was probably one of the best rentals we have ever stayed at. Peaceful, quiet and cozy. Loved being out in the lovely country setting yet only minutes into Placerville. The host was marvelous, we will be back!

A wonderful respite
The cottage was homey and cozy as promised. After a winding drive up the hill, we were greeted by a docile herd of deer grazing in the meadow with some of thier fancy turkey friends and frogs croaked happily in the little pond next to the cottage. Blue skies, fresh air and sunshine, green grass and happy yellow daffodils beckoned spring's close arrival. We were lucky to experience a full moon that set the meadows aglow in moonlight and filtered softly in the windows through the trees. The amenities, fireplace and comfy bed were great. The property was a peaceful respite from the burdens of day to day life. Just what we needed. Far enough up the hill to feel " lost" but close enough to drive down the hill into the quaint historic town. We enjoyed shopping, dining, live music and a nice walk along the El Dorado Trail. Suggestions... purchase a mattress pad to cover and protect the nice new mattress from sweat and other... well ya know... not me but... and better, new pillows and sheets. How about a pad of paper, pens and a deck of cards and a couple of board games? Oh and cooking oil please or a spray oil. We enjoyed preparing breakfast and eating outside... our February weekend weather was really fabulous and the turkeys were entertaining. 👌

Absolutely Perfect
The property is within walking distance to town, but you'd never know. It is so peaceful. My time was spent enjoying the crisp fresh air in utter peace amidst deer, birds, and gorgeous sunsets. The cottage is ideal. Super cozy and clean, with an abundance of natural light and all the little details I needed for a comfortable stay... Including enough coffee to sustain my need for multiple cups a day across a 4-day stay. Highly recommend!

A nice getaway for our anniversary. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the morning watching the wild deer and turkeys come and go. The kitchen was nice and stocked with everything you need to use to cook. We would definitely stay again.

Although we didn't spend a lot of time here, this little cottage was great for 2 adults. It was quiet and out of the way, but had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and exactly what the photos represented. And we loved the wildlife that visited each morning. We would stay again.

Quiet and cozy
It was a spur of the moment decision to stay at this wonderful cottage for a couple of days. The host was very accommodating with our request to check in early (for a very reasonable fee). It is a very cozy cottage, in a beautiful, quiet location - but only a few minutes drive from downtown Placerville. The home was immaculately clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. The home's manual, with the entry instructions, WiFi instructions etc. was comprehensive and didn't leave us with any questions. Great place, we're very happy to recommend it.

Very cute and modern in a rustic area
Extremely nice and modern house. Everything you need is there and its very quiet. Its a bit up the hill from town on some small roads, but a short drive to downtown. Lots of animals to see (Turkeys, Deer, Squirrels, birds) and the scenery is very nice.

Great stay at a cute cozy cottage
My goal was to enjoy a fun trip to Apple Hill to celebrate my child's first birthday. This cottage was absolutely perfect! We woke up to deer in the front yard and wild turkeys in the back. The location is secluded enough to get the vacay feel but only a 10 min drive away from town. The host graciously stocked the cottage with essentials like cooking supplies/utensils and laundry detergent. I plan to check availability for this cottage/host for all future visits to Apple Hill.
