Spacious Toucan has 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, two sofas, inside dining area and veranda overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

Everything you need for comfort is here - a kitchen, powerful air conditioning, ceiling fans, large screen TV with streaming apps, high speed internet, imported linens and a hammock to swing in right on the veranda!

Warm waters and a tropical Caribbean haven will greet you at this private sea front beach home located in the friendly village Maya Beach located on the Placencia Peninsula, Stann Creek District in Southern Belize.

Just 6 miles north of Placencia Airport, the Jadewinds property is within walking distance of great restaurants & dining, beach bars, grocery stores, an art gallery and Belize's only bowling alley. Stroll along the newly paved road and side walks or explore walking along the shoreline and taking in the natural beauty all around you.

This private, self catered sea front home is surrounded by coconut trees, sea grapes, coco plums, almond trees and palmettos that you can enjoy from your apartment upstairs in one of only two buildings set amongst over 100ft of soft sandy beach.

Jadewinds has three beachfront rooms in a spacious property right in the center of Maya Beach. If you need a group getaway or reunion, we have a total of 5 beds and can sleep up to 10 people.

If you decide to trade in the beach towels and swaying in the hammock for a bit of adventure, nearby you can explore Mayan archaeological sites, jungle rivers, waterfalls and wildlife, islands, ziplines, 4 wheelers, chocolate tours, cultural tours, spice tours, and much more!

Excursions and tours can be recommended to you. If the sea is where you're headed, you can get picked up at the dock beachside. If the Maya mountains are where you're headed, you can get picked up roadside.

From Toucan you can book tours and excursions to explore all that Belize has to offer, or freely roam in your own time if you hire a car.

**Take one of our kayaks across to False Caye, a tiny coral fringed island opposite
** Dive the Caribbean Sea and marvel at the pristine underwater world
** Take the Monkey River Tour, a boat ride through the lagoon to spot Manatees, Howler Monkeys, and Crocodiles.
** Walk amongst ancient history at Nim Li Punit (Big Hat) and Big Falls an hour away!
** Try your hand at sport fishing or angling with a local guide with a day at sea to 'hook and cook' to your heart's content
** Zip line through the wild jungle and dive into the waterfalls of Mayan King
** Explore the exquisite riverside trails of Kendal on horseback
** Learn Mayan culture, food and traditions on a guided tour
** Hike through the phenomenal Cockscomb Wildlife Sanctuary or Mayflower Bocawina National Park, both within an hour of the peninsula
