"We absolutely loved our stay on Serenity Lake. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of room and outdoor space. Wonderful lake for fishing and swimming. Saw deer, turtles, snakes, and rabbits. Very private. Enjoyed a soak in the hot tub. Brian was a great host. "

"Perfect area for side by side trail riding!! There are only a few options for food close by and not much options for breakfast. I would bring up some of your own food/snacks. The lake is right across the road and is absolutely beautiful!! You cannot fish right across the road you have to go to boat dock down the road. We loved the area and you will see deer in the yard. "My husband and I were moving from Oregon to Ohio and needed a respite and some nature between our long driving days. This place was beautiful and very clean. The owners of the property were very nice and accommodating and very responsive when we had questions and/or needs. We had a lot of fun Just FYI, not a complaint. The only spices are salt and pepper. There are no cooking oils, nor are there things like Saran Wrap, foil, etc. You will need to bring those. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. When walking we met several people on the street everyone was super nice. The river was perfect. We were able to sit on the dock and put our toes in. We kept waiting for the rough roads mentioned in a previous post. They do not exist. All roads were paved. No potholes. Very nice for small town Midwest. "
