Minutes away from world class fly fishing on the Connecticut River. Enjoy beautiful sunsets while sitting around the camp fire or gas fireplace.

We had a wonderful stay at Camp Chaos! Great location and great home space. We did not feel like we needed for anything as it was all there. The lake view was so pretty and access to the trails was perfect. Thank you, Darrell, we had a wonderful trip!

The house was very nice. We loved the house, the cleanliness, how was stocked with everything from pots and pans, kayaks, soaps. We would definitely recommend it.

Almost perfect
We had a great stay at Camp Chaos. There was a minor miscommunication with the housecleaning person, but it did not interfere with our overall enjoyment on Back Lake. The first night there, I caught 4 bass off the private dock. I was hoping for trout...LOL! Beautiful sunsets, wonderful dinner at Rainbow Grille and Murphy's Steakhouse always keeps us coming back to Pittsburg. We will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future! Thanks for sharing your home!

Amazing cabin
I booked this cabin for 3 nights 4 days and I couldn't say enough. Beautiful location on Back Lake! Well stocked with everything you need! We loved the water craft and fire pit! The decorations were so North Country. The owner chatted with me on the phone and was full of knowledge about the area! Hopefully going to book this rental again. 5 🌟

Little vacation

Love Back Lake
Forth year in a row to the area and never disappoints. If you like relaxing, fishing and riding this is the place for you. House was just as expected with an amazing host to answer all our questions. Will return next year for sure.

Quiet gem
A quiet little gem of a house on Back Lake. Beautiful views, loved waking up to the sound of the loons!! Weather was not cooperative but the house had plenty of movies and games and space to socialize.

Location that's hard to beat!
Our family had a great stay at Camp Chaos! The views of mountains and the lake were outstanding! Sunsets, and the star gazing at night are not to be missed. The photos of the cabin don't do it justice, it's even better in person-spacious, yet cozy, with plenty of room for everyone to sprawl out, yet still be able to enjoy some QT together. The living room is where we spent the most time relaxing by the fire, reading, playing board games and puzzles (generously provided by the host), and watching Christmas movies. The house was well-equipped to ensure a comfortable stay. We brought food with us to cook, but were advised that there are a couple of grocery stores nearby to stock up on supplies, if needed, as well as some good eating out options (CHOP/Colebrook house of pizza was a great spot to grab some delicious takeout pies after a day of exploring the nearby towns and scenic areas). Beaver Brook Falls (minutes away) is a must-see, as well as taking a scenic drive on Rt.3/Moose Alley toward Canadian border in hopes of spotting a moose; lots of cute local shops/antiques to check out, too. The bunk beds were a bit too firm for my kids' liking, but queen beds and living room couches were pretty comfortable. Keep in mind, you have to bring own sheets and towels. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and would love to return during the warmer months to take advantage of the canoe/kayaks available on the property to explore the lake!

Great views and a comfy house.
Journeyed to Pittsburg for a wedding and this home was perfect for our two-night stay. The family room was great for chatting, snoozing and TV watching. It was great to have coffee in the morning in the sunroom looking at the ducks as they swam around the lake.
