"This property far exceeded our expectations. Historic property with plenty to do onsite. Paddle boats on the lake, electric bikes, playground, indoor heated pool, games, vege garden/ fruit trees to help yourself. The apartment we had slept 4 with good kitchen facilities and living space. Huge bedrooms! Little booklet with a short history of the property was a nice touch. "This was our second time here. The cleanliness was great, the views were great, a beautiful spot to stay! Such an amazing place to stay, the spa was great also! Though 2 things did stand out to us, I think having silicone on the shower door would be beneficial, as the bathroom floor gets drenched whilst showering. Also, my partner fell down the entire back steps and injured himself as they were extremely slippery with the wet weather. I suggest putting some anti slip guides on each step....

"This is a really beautiful property with incredible views and very quiet bit it’s not easy to get to with 17 steps to follow. So make sure you get there in the light. You also can’t drive directly to the house you have to put your bags in a cart and pull it the last 80 metres. We didn’t realise this and turned up in the dark after a very big day. Also for some reason we couldn’t get the directions either. Fortunately we had someone to call who could get all the details to us and we could get in....
