"We stayed here for a couple nights during the week in August. Everything was great. We had a fun time using the Kayaks and sitting down by the dock. It’s a small lake but was perfect for the kids to Kayak. The he house was clean and the neighbor we met was very nice. Perfect for a mid week getaway for my wife and kids and another couple and their daughter. "

"This was a comfortable and spacious room in downtown Hillsdale. Easy walking distance to restaurants and a somewhat longer walk to Hillsdale College. Downsides: very soft mattress and the location of the toilet in the bathroom is awkward for larger people. Since we were petite it was fine. When we had an issue with the lock it was promptly rand easily resolved. Overall a comfortable experience."

"Really lovely place. Well-stocked kitchen for those who plan to cook. Great for a big family group."

"I use to come here when I was a little girl. We stayed directly across the lake from my grandpas place.. Mike and Sue were extremely pleasant. Made us feel very comfortable. I would very much recommend this place! We are looking forward to our next vacation here"

"This cabin was great. Awesome location, so much to do in the area and on the surrounding land. The Wabash trail and Tiffin River are right out the back door. The house is very well equipped for all cooking. Great living area with plenty of seating and comfortable beds. We will certainly be back!"

"Very nice clean cottage with beautiful views. It was chilly and windy so we didn't take out the boats or kayaks so I guess we will have to come back. Rhonda stopped by to make we got checked in okay and didn't need anything. We thought that was above and beyond and it was appreciated. "

"We were here for a funeral of a family member who passed too soon and we are all heartbroken and evn though we used none of the amenities (nice kitchen to cook food) evwryrhing was very nice and so muc better than staying in a hotel. We live in Illinois so had people coming and going at different times due to work/life schedules and this worked out perfectly for us. "

"The Property was outstanding, but our link through VRBO to access the property was a complete fail. We were only able to get inside because we happened to encounter the property manager. We had a lovely stay, and highly recommend the property."

"The perfect place to bond, laugh and rest up for my daughter's wedding. The decor was lovely, the house had everything that we needed to share meals and prep for the big day, and the hosts were delightful."

"Had an absolute great time. The property is very beautiful. Cabin is really cozy, however the bed situation needs some work. The bed in the basement is in a room in the basement with nothing in the room beside a bed and old basement smell. All the mattresses in the cabin are in extremely rough shape. Not a good sleeping experience. Lots of rules about where you can and can't go, put a vehicle, if you mess up a bed but don't sleep in it incurs fees, you have to bring your own firewood. Etc. just...

"We had a fantastic week at this cottage. The cottage was perfect for our family vacation. Jeff was very responsive to questions and replied quickly. Plenty of supplies were available. We were very comfortable. We would highly recommend this rental!"

"Despite the lake community having many houses near each other, this cottage felt very private. Kitty, the owner, is great and communicates well. While it was just the two of us, there was bedding upstairs for an additional 4 people. The electric fire insert was nice and warm. Puzzles and two tables to work on them. Not far from town (15-20 min. to Coldwater, MI) or 15 min. Or less to Angola and Pokagon where we hit the tabogan run. Fun fact: it was snowy and cold while we were there but the view...

"The property and the owner/hosts were fantastic. We had a wonderful week and had everything we needed. It was very comfortable for 3 couples and a guest or 2 that stopped by for a night. "
