"Nice house with gorgeous views of the lake. Well stocked with the exception of a wine opener. The only negative comment I have is the property isn’t being cleaned/maintained as it should. The air filters were absolutely disgusting. I don’t think they had been changed in a very long time. There were ants in the home due to food not being cleaned up from the floor. "Great location!! We have stayed here several times due to being back in a quiet cove and in walking distance from the dock. We were a little disappointed that the slide on the dock was no longer there but it is still in the VRBO pictures. The hot tub was cold when we arrived but I contacted the manager and she replied right away and told us how to fix it. It warmed up very fast! They added a nice little fire pit area and my kids really enjoyed hanging out there at night. "

"Payton’s place is a beautiful home. The views are gorgeous. Loved swimming at the dock. We enjoyed our vacation overall. We wouldn’t rebook this property though and I’ll tell you why (Vacasa Rental) 1. Found a Depends diaper in the lower level by the couch upon check-in. 2. Kayak on the dock not mentioned, messaged Vacasa about use, not helpful, just stated not in agreement. Would have been fun to use, but should be more clearly listed if it’s sitting right there. 3. "The location of the property was great as it was just a short walk to the marina. The porch was a wonderful retreat, too. We however, felt the property needed a good sweeping and mop job. After our 7 month old baby dropped something on the floor and it rolled under the couch, we found trash, cups, wrappers, and dust bunnies galore. We didn't realize that the floors were so dirty until we gave our 2 year old a bath, then put her in footed pj's.....Her feet were filthy. The cold air return in...

"My family was super impressed with this home! It’s huge and offers plenty of space. Having two kitchens was a bonus with our large group. We had an issue with the air conditioning, but someone was sent out immediately and took care of it. They were so nice and helpful! I’d recommend having more bath linens in the bathrooms. Otherwise wonderful stay! We’d come back for sure!"

"This place was exactly what we needed. 24 women and every room has its on bathroom this was perfect. Communication was excellent with the host. Norris Nook is a beautiful home. If you are thinking about a place to rent for a large group, this property is excellent. The gameroom was nice, the location is great. The kitchen is well srocked, with utenils, plates, dishes...erc."

"We had a relaxing stay! While the weekend got a little busy, we found that week days on the lake, and at the cabin were quiet and peaceful. We rented a boat from the Sugar Hollow Marina and were very pleased to discover how close by it was. The dock and the deck were wonderful places to hang out and enjoy the lake and the views. "We had and excellent time during our stay! The place is exactly as advertised and offers some very nice views of the leaves changing colors in the fall. We played a very challenging round of golf at course right up the road on Friday and then hung out and watched college football while grilling with a fire all of Saturday. This place is perfect for getting away from the noise and unwinding! "

"We all Loved the house and had a great time, our family has had some challenges that we are working through, so much needed therapy and time together. It was nice for everyone to have a separate bedroom and bath. The kitchen with two refrigerators and dishwashers and great room were our favorite meeting places. Both decks were great and the hot tub was nice. We did have a problem with the hot tub and that was resolved the very next morning. Thank You for a very nice stay. "
