"This place is good if you plan on being out adventuring and exploring all day and just need a place to sleep and shower. It is small so there isn't really a place to just hang out inside but it is a really good value with all the amenities you need. The cabin is close to pretty much anywhere you want to go in the Red."

"The host was quick to answer any and all questions. Everything I needed was available and the property was clean. The host went as far as giving us the connecting unit at no extra charge for my family and I to have more room. It was nice being able to walk out onto the shared porch and spend time together. The fire pits were a great time and the extra fire wood that was supplied came in handy. Would hook here again for sure :) "

"Stayed for a long weekend with some friends and had a wonderful time. The cabin is quirky but we didn't really have any problems - e.g., the fixtures in the bathroom shower were loose, there was an insecure shelf in the cupboard that tipped - all small things that were not perfect but were fine. It was an awesome location for hiking and climbing in the Red River Gorge. We enjoyed the hot tub, watched movies, cooked big meals together - the cabin was perfect for all of that. "

"The drive to the cabins is very difficult if you do not have 4 wheel drive. And once you are there you have to walk up a step path to the cabins which is difficult for people over 60 or children under age 3. Overall it was a great “camping” experience. The outdoor pavilion is only user friendly in warm weather. It was very cold in April to be used an outdoor living space."

"We had a really great time at Big Rock cabin. Beds were comfy and the cabin was the perfect size - cozy, but not too small. We loved the fire pit area! We only sat out there one night, and wished we had the other nights as well, but the night we did was very nice. The rock cliff helped reflect some of the heat back so we stayed nice and warm.
