"The Buffalo Lake Cabin was a perfect place for a fall getaway. The house was warm and cozy and the outside air was crisp and clean. We enjoyed the fall colors and the lake views. "This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The last time was about 2 years ago. The owners added a better summer heating & cooling unit. Normally you would think we would have needed the air conditioning, but needed the heat instead. Really enjoyed our stay and will come here again."

"Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay here. The kids loved sitting around the bonfire and making s’mores. Our puppy loved running around inside the fenced area and joining us on our family trip. The location of this home was convenient for visiting Itasca State Park. The only thing we found disappointing was that the dock was already pulled in. Our boys were looking forward to being able to fish off the dock. The owners were very communicative and shared with us a location near by for fishing....

"The property is as it appears in the pictures, nothing atrocious is hidden like with other rentals I have paid for. The kayaks were enjoyed by all, even in the chilly October weather. The piano (a really nice keyboard), pool table, and dart board were utilized every day, several times a day. Overall, it was exactly what I was expecting to get."

"We were in town for a family reunion on Fish Hook Lake, so the location was great! HWY 71 was a little loud in the evening as we were trying to get to bed with the windows open, but we managed. The owner had a great communication and was accommodating to our schedule. Very clean and everything we needed was there!"
