You are welcome to catch and release fish on the property ponds without a license. There are fish (small mouth bass in larger/trout in smaller) in the ponds.
Fishing license required for river. Nice-sized trout. While fishing, must stay in the green line which represents the property boundary.
Chicken coop by river has low beams and rusty nails, construction materials, etc, explorers beware.
Loose rocks abound, please be mindful.
River is cold, and swift in parts, not ideal for swimming.
We use the VRBO app, and welcome texts with questions or concerns. We live an hour and a half away in case of non-life threatening emergencies.

This is a mountain property where you will see lots of wildlife! Commonly we have deer and geese wandering around as well as hawks and eagles! However please be mindful as mountain lions, bears and others are seen in the area.
We are currently building two Fishing Cabins, which share the 4 acre outdoor area on the lower tier.
We are also renovating the landscaping, so please be aware of the minor disruptions during construction. Contractors may be on site thru end-of-year 2024.
Pine is a small, relaxing town. Many come to explore the outdoors: hiking, biking, and fishing. Nearby you'll find a fun antique shop and the local library just down the street.
There is a beautiful historic mining town up Elk Creek Road, makes for an amazing scenic drive! (X-large vehicles not encouraged).
Biking up Buffalo Creek is very popular.
35 minutes from Red Rocks Amphitheater.
Zoka's restaurant (closed Monday's and Tuesday's) is just down the road and Crossroads Pub and Grill is delicious! Golden Pine Chinese is good too.
Fun local shops located at Pine Valley Junction, gas and weekends usually will have a food truck called Sophia's, across from the pub. Conifer is just a 20 minute drive from the cabin and you can find grocery stores, restaurants, fast food places, Starbucks and more. Bailey town center is 20 minutes.
With mountain properties it's always a good idea to check the weather and have all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive for access during heavy snow days. This area is nicknamed the "banana belt" and tends to receive less snow than surrounding areas.
