"We stayed at the Pilsley Inn in order to visit Chatsworth House. The inn is walking distance from the farm shop and from the house itself. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the staff took great care of us."

"A late Valentines night away. We stayed in the superior room which had everything you could ask for. The Bath tub is a must and the spa facilities were perfect to unwind after a freezing cold day! We dinned in the Bowling Green for tea and breakfast. Location is ideal right next door The steaks were lush, and the potato hash for breakfast you need to try! Staff and service was amazing. Will definitely come back again. "

"I cannot recommend Marehay hall Farm and host Sharon highly enough. All of the the positive descriptions reviewing a B&B apply here. Whatever your expectations are they will surely be met and exceeded. If you are looking for a quiet oasis to relax and retreat from the hustle of daily life, this is it. The gardens are work in progress and offer the potential to make this a much saught after retreat location. Would we come back. Without a doubt! "

"We had a perfectly good stay at the Dog and Partridge, but the accommodation didn’t transpire to be what we expect. We were anticipating a cozy room, in a country pub setting but, in reality, the D&P offers good value, chalet-style family rooms, each with it’s own car port, in a large area behind the pub itself. The pub itself has a nice enough bar, and offers fair evening meals, with a home-cooked feel, and a very good continental breakfast selection, or cooked options for just £6 extra. This...

"Lovely hotel The annexe area is very tired and the bathrooms need updating. The spa was ok but could benefit from an upgrade and maybe some soft relaxing music in the treatment rooms. The staff were ok. No one ‘went the extra mile’ let’s say. Staff need to be more customer focused at times felt like they were putting themselves out to accommodate us when it should be that nothing was too much trouble especially in the spa. This didn’t spoil our stay though. "
