"Accomodations very well conserved! All perfect. Kitchen very equiped with all necessary items to prepare your own meals. Several items to your leisure like tennis table, soccer table, books, tourists infromations...also, good place to make a delicious barbecue...nice vision of the lake and nice swimming pool shared with others houses. "The hotel is the center of the village thus not accessible by car, though you can park about 3min away. Our apartment was on a second floor with no elevator and very quirky decorated. Not the best window shades and the church (with its bell) is quite close. The breakfast was rather simple but then again inexpensive. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and included a reasonable discount. All in all a good small hotel."

"Lovely welcome package - helpful guide from the owner and beautiful views. Comfortable sleeping for seven guests and good cooking appliances and cutlery. Lots to do in area and close to boat hire and water sports hire places. Good restaurants nearby in Sorico. The natural spring is quite challenging to get to but a good adventure. No complaints - would recommend! "

"Everything about the house is fantastic with great views across Lake Como. The hosts, Danielle and Marco were flgreat and greeted us upon arrival. We were very spoilt with a bottle of bubbly and delicious snacks. The house was a little further out of Varenna than we thought, but we love to walk and we think we left fitter than when we arrived. We would definitely recommend staying at El Lavandee."

The apartment had everything you’d need for cooking, laundry and restful spaces. There was a cute porch with a view of a small chapel, a castle and the lake if you stood close to the railing. This location was so beautiful and restful. A great getaway for a couple!"
