It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."

"This was exactly as described, Massimo was very engaging and informative, he told the history around the house and surroundings, the place is quaint and cozy, (especially the little wood stove), it was exhilarating to come home to after visiting busy, noisy Florence and Venice, climbing the windy little road was an experience in itself, if you love peace and quiet this is the place. We loved staying here for a month. ❤️"

"The quiet setting of this old farmhouse provided a calm retreat from the hectic days of sightseeing. Giacomo was a gracious host, meeting us when we arrived, giving us numerous helpful tips about sightseeing and restaurants, things to do and places to see. The spacious bedrooms of the house and views of the countryside are beautiful. There are stairs to negotiate, and having a vehicle is helpful. "

"The property manager, Tanya, was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The apartment was very well-equipped and furnished for a multi-week stay. It had comfortable beds and couches, a private outdoor terrace in the courtyard, and was stocked with kitchen and cleaning supplies and extra bedding and linens.The wifi, heating, and water systems all worked well. The apartment is on a quiet street very close to the town center and a city gate. We highly recommend this apartment!"

"My family (6 of us, all adults) spent a week at this lovely farmhouse in Tuscany. The host is amazing and made sure we are comfortable and nothing is missing, she gave us a great and educational olive oil and wine tasting, the property is wonderful with olive trees all around and a large pool to enjoy, every bedroom had its own bathroom and the location is perfect for day excursions to see much of what Tuscany had to offer. We would definitely stay here again. "

Direkt am Pool - durch die tiefere Lage des Pools dennoch sehr ruhig. Man hat von der Terrasse und der Küche einen wunderbaren Blick über Lucca. Das Gelände an sich ist durch die Lage am Berg aber nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Was unserem 10-tägigen Aufenthalt dort aber überhaupt keinen Abbruch tat. "We had a wonderful week with our family. Giovanni is a very friendly and helpful host. The house is surrounded by so much beautiful nature. Having breakfast on the terrace with a stunning view over the Tuscan hills is like paradise. Still on walking distance you can find a bakery for a morning coffee, a pizzeria and other shops and it is only 10 minutes driving to Lucca center. The garden is enormous with endless possibilities both sun and shadow. If it gets too hot the swimming pool helps you...
